Wow, de_monsoon changed A LOT since the last time I had played it*.
Mmh, frankly i was surprised how much Nuke is played in GO, with all the new players it brought, it was often voted for nextmap. And I would quit.
*Sigh ![]()

Looks more like it JP, can't see A-site though, i'd think rotation is too quick now... but I dunno.
Quote from SteppenwolfThis freedom of choice is the appeal of sandbox games. It's also a luxury. One that Rockstar can afford when they are on a 200m $ budget and make enough dough in the first week to make 5 more of these games.
You are right, that's not what i meant, on the point of view of a developer i find depressing the idea that i can build something that no one will enjoy.
I'm in UK and the console is in Italy! ![]()
Does deleting the game work for prevent the ban? I think I deleted the fake account from the console.
I know Thrik it's not fair to get games free like this, in the end I did for AB because i use the console so little that it's perfect for popping in sometime after lunch... but 49€ for that? Cm'on. If you want to enforce such policies, you don't leave the door open like that.
WHAAAAT?
I got Angry Birds the other months creating a Russian account. And you don't need any proxy to do that.
If they want to enforce regional constrictions, you check from where your user connects from, or you require a credit card valid in his country as proof (like Apple does for eg).
I don't want to get banned even if i use the console so little ![]()
How many will finish the GTA 5 campaign? GTA4 was at 27%. It's ridiculous that gamers want bigger worlds and then they don't finish the main story. And GTA is not a challenging game at all.
From a web developer opening:
QuoteDevelop and deploy web services for online gambling pages
mmh, are they getting in the business too?
Agreed, AAA titles won't die, as well as mobile's: they are just getting bigger and bigger as hardware quickly ramps up. Small indies will continue to make the occasional low-fi hit.
Quote from Al Anselmo~Intelect0Yeah, that's an insane amount! But check Puzzle & Dragons too ("daily revenue rate of $4.9 million").
Yeah, read about that in the same article where I originally found out about Supercell, but I think Supercell is a much younger studio and much smaller.
Sign me up for doing what Gabe's partner did; if I made Minecraft, I would have bought a boat and established myself in Greece ![]()
Anyways, it must be invigorating to be able to open your own studio, without growing it bigger than you.
Surprising, but I receive almost every day notifications of positions from the alerts i've set on Ubi and EA's job platforms...
Quote from seirMaybe it's a few bucks game but all that micropayments can make nice $...
Yeah, ask Supercell. "It generates $2.4 million per day".
It's clearly aiming to a middle-ground.
Keep in mind they make DOTA now, so i'm sure they keep in mind that... not that it'll be a device to use in tournaments, but better than any other competitor.
Hey, but we played this, and was fun! I just wonder to the B route that had that nasty bottleneck.
The silo bombsite is very recognizable; congrats on finishing it! I love the theme ![]()
Quote from Kedhrini hate videos and i hate cover letters
I think most of the people agrees, you are definitely never giving an interview to someone with an amazing letter and poor portfolio, that said, you have to spend sometime on that aspect anyway, since most studios require it. (I imagine the HR manager throwing away applications that not satisfy the requirements.)
That's unfortunate, but that should motivate you to keep improving the portfolio.
You guys that are employed, do you know if your companies use software to filter applications? I've read a lot of big companies (in general, not limited to IT) do filter CVs by the number of keywords matching their parameters for a given job opening.
There's a whole playthorugh
The chainsaw scene looks/feels silly/glitched.
Gonna play it anyway of course.
I think this is sweet
QuoteIn order to avoid forcing players to divide their attention between screens, a critical feature of the Steam Controller comes from its deep integration with Steam. When a player touches the controller screen, its display is overlayed on top of the game they’re playing, allowing the player to leave their attention squarely on the action, where it belongs.
when i was reading the first part i was just thinking "we are just moving the problem of clutter away from a screen... creating the one of distraction of looking at another screen", so i got owned.
Quote from ThrikI have no doubt that Half-Life 3 will come, but actively waiting for it is retarded because this is Valve and it could take so long it's not even funny. I think they'll deal with Episode 3 by having it be some kind of prologue to the game, and then Half-Life 3 proper will be just as different to HL2 as HL2 was to HL1.
We'll play it when we retire ![]()
Btw i consider the episodes much better than the original and I just hope they can deliver the same rythm if they do a full blown game. I wouldn't mind continuing paying for episodes frankly.
I also hope they don't do something that is way off HL2 like they did at the time, what's the point, make another game then. The setting is nice, they have set up an interesting cliffhanger and there are numerous ways to continue the story.
Quote from killertomatoevery year valve waits with releasing hl3, expectations will grow so I can't say I'm slowly getting more sceptical about the silence around hl3 since the wait has been this long already...
I was like that for 2, that i was dissapointed when i played it.
Now it's been such a long wait that i "don't care anymore", probably it will be much better if and when it arrives.
Does it make any sense that they won't announce it until they are sure they can deliver it for a certain date without delays? I mean, the debacle for HL2 was kinda bad, and I did see too much footage for the time it came out; I hope something like they announce it, show a teaser, and in three months they show two other trailers and ship it.
Quote from killertomatoAnna Torv > Gillian Anderson
X-files > Fringe
loved Fringe but the X-files will always have a little special paranoid place in my heart..
Until which season? Because at that time of the first couple of seasons i was too young and sent to bed by my parents. I remember seeing a few episodes of one of the latest (8?) and there was terrible stuff (the episode with ghosts and the meta-narration with them ending up in a movie).
Btw it's a long time plan now to get the collection and watch until it's good.
Love this hazy environment, great lighting; congratulations for such a big effort ![]()
