Sprony i can quite well get behind you, i'm working with a couple of lazy ladies and that sometimes really gets on my nerves. Then i think that if they were doing everything properly, in the afternoon (they're part-time) i wouldn't have anything to do very soon, or all of us wouldn't have anything to do some days. Sometimes it's just that the system is designed wrong.

Watching Gossip Girl in-between Breaking Bad episodes? Are you insaaaaaaane??

    hahaha

Well, you could say, watching it at all but it was a night i might have been phoned every minute because of something happening and i didn't want to get interrupted. I was considering watching some other (minor) tv show i have in list, but i didn't want to end up starting something potentially interesting... i really needed a brainwasher. Plus, i had just spent a good couple of hours listening to girls' talk.

When in Italy i used to eat pasta almost every day... i'm not totally surprised that doing a physical job plus not eating all those carbs i got even fittier. I'm surprised i'm doing it by eating all the cakes we get here though.

Cod fillets in a simple tomato+garlic+onion+celery sauce. And even the most plain pasta is nice when you have olive oil and some real parmesan ("pasta in bianco"). I then added some of the sauce in which i cooked the cod fillets since it was abundant

And with the new phone the pics are much better now.

I had my duty shift last night, so in an attempt to save the Breaking Bad finale for better moments, i started watching Gossip Girl

I was watching the last two episodes of Breaking Bad this afternoon, and i paused the finale midway to hang with colleagues. It turns out it was planned to watch the latest episode of Sherlock, which I heard good things about.

    It's

    a

    pile

    of

    shit.

Ok, objectively, this episode wasn't probably the best to evaluate it, since there was no murder case, but...

it is really exageratelly factitious with a super-annoying cheap soap-opera feel with its style of direction/photography (colors) and lighthearted moments.

You cannot cater to an audience from 16 to 60 and think you are gonna make something good.

At least i could "wash my mouth" afterwards with the epilogue of Walter White's story. Very good finale, but last couple of episodes aren't up to par with the pathos of the rest of the season.

Need a machine to run it (and all the rest of back catalog); next three days I'm off work, I'll read reviews…

I dunno how much in depth you are thinking about these subjects and their application other than programming; I think that statistics could be used for important design aspects of a game, and even a full game can be designed about statistics concepts (i'm thinking procedural stuff).

That said, in the end you have to program it.

OH MY GOOOOOD, last episodes of Breaking Bad are an immense crescendo of pathos. I'm forcing myself to close Netflix now and leave the last two episodes for tomorrow.

If this situation is affecting your relationship because you haven't talked to your girlfriend/spouse yet, have a distensive discussion with her, explaining how you are feeling and why.

I guess you probably scouted the market already, but keep at it, you never know someting will come up... it will also keep you busy and with your mind elsewhere. I guess.

As per what to do, the posts above said it, and i think FMPONE summed it up perfectly in the first post. You must try to be waterproof and let all this fly over your head.

My dad is a teached and for years continued to send letters and submit reports and nothing ever came out of it. He's just holding on trying to get to retirement I wish he had some hobby to keep his mind away... luckily he started going to the gym and now they seem they can't do without, but other than that he just watches movies and fiddles with the iPad all afternoon/evenings.
