Beautiful!

Guess last persons who worked 20 years in the same company are Tim Willits and Tim Sweeney?

I'm not in the industry but, Liam, sounds like you need a break. From the job or maybe more simply working in a small studio, or even on your own.
I dunno your family/sentimental situation, but maybe a change of scenery could do as well. You definitely have the experience to work pretty much everywhere.

Why is the on-screen text (the one in handwriting popping up exploring) in Italian?

Haven't played the original(s) but I like a good crap in my pants.
Good stuff, even though a bit too long in the build up(?). Anyway, what annoys me in these games they feel so real but you can't do anything you would do yourself... like kick doors when someone is trying to get in, or squish the creature in the sink.
Quote from (HP)Put it this way, what would you prefer, a 2 minute video on youtube with a "PRE-ORDER NOW!!11!" or a playable teaser that's actually original?
Always thought that this should be the way to promote a game with serious intentions.
Quote from MaKI really don't understand the point of putting celebrities in video games, it sort of really breaks the immerson imo.
I was reflecting on this topic after seeing the casting. Though I wouldn't go so far to say that... not sure, part of me likes some good and famous actors (see Kevin Spacey in COD). Guess it depends on the actual game and casting choice? You might get this impression cos Reedus is on the top of the wave thanks to The Walking Dead, here in the west. Might work the opposite with an eastern celebrity, for a moment I imagined if it had the guy from I Saw The Devil.

After seeing the MS press conference, I have the impression that the exosuit jump is not as fluid as it should and appeared to be from the first trailer.
-
It's my personal impression that Quantum Break is slightly better looking(?).

Haven't read the article but rumoured plot

«In space no one can hear you screaming, this year, on Earth, everyone will be hearing it.»

Super, but why CG? Such a waste of money; makes me just want to see a new movie, even a serie of shorts a-la Animatrix would be cool.

Yeah you could say that… but if it's fun I have no problems with that. A shooter is a shooter, I can't imagine anything much different, and seems we are just inventing gimmicky concepts to spice it up, like that game with gravity changes.
Alan Wake was incredibly limited, but I think that was its strength: at the toughest difficulty I enjoyed all that dancing around to dodge. Luckily that animation was good, unlike the rest.
And animations here are not perfect, there's something about them, but I don't think they're bad at all.
I'm liking the different ways to control time! I personally haven't played anything similar before so I'll trust who's saying stuff is borrowed… but I don't care
also moving in-out of line of fire freezing time makes it look like the Quicksilver scene from X-Men made into a game.My only complaint is that character seems overpowered.

Don't have time to watch more than the first two min, but looks amazing.
4K on the PC 6 months after release?

Quote from PaulH
It's a bit of a shame as I (totally unbiased-ly, of course) think we did a decent job with the Crysis 3 multiplayer, we just had neither the team size, budget, technical foundation or player base to convert what we made into much of a success
Do you think it's that? Frankly at this point I don't think all this matters. CoD has critical mass, you can throw all the money you want at a "cod-killer" and you won't make a real dent in its audience. This is my impression: only COD can kill itself.
Quote from MinosDidn't Crysis play a lot like CoD too?

Of course, they have ironsights! [Blocked Image: http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20071018154810/nonciclopedia/images/1/13/Asd.gif]

Finished watchin Californication Season 7, still interesting, still the best modern love story for me.
Watched first two episodes of Extant, nothing particularly catching for now.
Just watched Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Part 1.

Rant at Amazon Prime Video, I'm doing the Prime Trial and there are too many movies/shows not available for streaming but that need renting or buying! Totally not incentivated in subscribing.

This looks fun just as much as Titanfall.
I'd play some.
The extreme character customisation and progress makes it (and all these games nowdays) a bit too on the "hardcore" for me. Who has the time to get all the fancy weapons?
-
I'd say impressive display!
Is it really gonna be an island? Because it looks just set on a piece of the coast.
-
And of course most exotic weapons are locked by preorder-dlc.
Surprised this is by Yager this time!
Looking good! I'm curious about the engine.

Gonna read the interview now, although previous comments don't suggest a positive reading… and I always found Cevat less full of himself than other heads.
Slightly related with Crytek, so I'll put it here as well

Can't remember if there was another topic about the layoffs and stuff.
They're expanding in sports games
