Ye, previous models you looked at had a 84x or something, don't go for a model like 2 years old

Then I'd say it's explained badly in the guide…
-
The original mod hooked me seriously for a while, I used to play with a good friend.
I'd like to play it, but not sure about ping... my connection has regular, extremely long lags. I added you to the contacts (Cake Glutton) might try to see if it's playable.

Yeah but just above I read someone writing that clipping is not important.
I also think initial question is a bit poorly formed and I see comments going in all directions.
According to the guide, if i am reading correctly, a clip_brush will stop players AND bullets, while player_clip won't stop bullets? Which to me makes sense, cos you might want to have a fence but be able to shoot through it.

Player clipping is important in every game because prevents the player to get stuck, in frantic situations as well as careful movement.
Considering how much you backtrack without looking in CS (or most of shooters), smoothing minor corners/edges is important.
Or what did I miss?

Guys, whatever you look at it, if you own a house you still have a roof in case of a shitstorm. Loose your job -which nowadays happens every other day- and you might be in serious trouble.
And there's people renting their house while living abroad, is surely an annoyance but at the end of the day probably still worth it.
Colleague of mine is paying mortgage renting the house she's buying (we live in our workplace).
Anyway, I'm regretting applying for the supervisor position. Due to the shitty way booking information is stored in our office, I've been sloppy and made two glaring mistakes this week. Nothing unfixable, but it's really annoying me because it makes me look bad — not much with my boss, which today reassured me, but with the people I oversee… which already are not inclined of being supervised because they don't care at all. One especially applied for my position two times before and after I arrived in the UK. He's been a dick telling to my face that he doesn't want to do things the way we are told to (which is not the moon but what to me looks like standard for a low-end hospitality business).
How can you demand/impose a standard if you make some basic organisational mistakes?

Also doesn't help that I'm not usually a strong personality, at least, I can't be when I'm not at the top of the game – I mean I'm still learning everything.
And that's why I'm regretting the job, I have to waste energies on learning this, when I should focus on going back to IT stuff.

Money, holidays dictated by how many guests we have in the centre... I did plan to go this xmas, one year ago, but didn't snow much then and more importantly got a gf during summer so it didn't happen.
When we were starting to consider to go together around this time, she started to hear that there were going to cut people where she works...

Ok so I played a bit today aaand maps take long to load, although CS is installed on the SSD. Wtf Valve.
Quality of my connection where i live/work is pretty rubbish. Ping is decent, but i get regular uberlags that leave me hanging with the impending doom message of connection lost

I checked if Rambo was on Netflix and this related search came up, so even if it was past 2 AM, i started watching it

My ex was like that for over two years because she couldn't find a job she was happy with. I have to admit that it really wore me down, because being faced with that kind of negativity almost all of the time when I myself am an extremely positive and optimistic person is difficult.
I also found it difficult to really empathise with her. I knew that she was unhappy, but in her shoes I would have kept my mood upbeat and focused on the future — which indeed I did when I was surprised by redundancy. She couldn't do this, and bad moods went on for days after a crappy day at work.
It's like, I'd say comforting things but I found it hard to feel like I truly meant them deep down, and in most cases it didn't help anyway. I kind of just wanted her to be like me and snap out of it, keeping herself busy doing fun things rather than dwelling on problems that nothing can be done about other than applying for and trying new jobs, which she was doing anyway.
I learnt through the experience that I am absolutely not compatible with pessimistic personalities. I realise that this may not be helpful for you.

Oh no don't worry, I was just venting out, thanks for sharing as well.
I have never been very optimistic myself, I became much more in the last few years when I actually started doing things I like.
I think it's pretty natural to be hit hard when you particularly like your job. She's also quite alone, the family is far north so she has only her best friends, which she's lucky to have a couple London, and me.
I think it's just a matter of time, she's starting to accept the situation, yesterday there was another bad news (probably less time than expected to have to leave) but she didn't react like previously. And today she got the good news of being selected for an interview, so yes. I'm hopeful of the situation getting more relaxed

I'd be interested to know how Valve found this all out. I imagine it's something to do with the unique ID of a skin making it into an associated account of a certain IP address, based on the original account holder. Maybe take into consideration the age of the account as well. Fresh accounts having ££££s worth of skins dumped into them.
So as long as they put the skins into an account that had never been logged into from their home IP and sold the weapons off market for real money (which I believe breaks ToS?) which was transferred into their accounts, maybe they could get away with it.
I would love to know the extent of data valve collect and process, because I bet it's mind boggling.
Why does it have to be so complicated?
Star player receives items straight after a match... it's immediately traceable and suspicious. And it must be straightforward to see that the items were won betting on matches the final recipients were involved to start with.
Right?

Played a good 4 hours FC4 after weeks. Got to Shangri-La. I love the first view of the place with the giant head sculpture towering the scene.

Ye, Turkey
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dying_Light#Main_campaign
but when it was presented everyone thought it was set in Rio
"Developed by Techland, Dying Light is a first-person game set in a fictional city that highly resembles Brazil’s Rio de Janeiro, even replicating banners and ads in the city that advertise an upcoming international sporting event"
http://www.examiner.com/article/e3-201…ons-dying-light
although was never said so.

Oh, Saturday decided to finally tackle LOST, since I did watch only the first season ages ago (except the last episode XD).
the day after Amazon sent me an email notifying that they're taking down the show from Prime the 28th of Feb!
FUCK!!!

Last night I fired up DOD Source, it's so sad, I could barely find a server to play: most servers had 2 players, 2-3 were full, and a couple of others joinable. Played half hour Avalanche then turned off the computer.
I hope Valve revives the game, it really deserves a brighter future.

I know, but whilst there is protection if a project doesn't reach funding, I understand that if a project fails your money goes in the shitter. So if I have to give money I'd prefer going thorugh an early access funding like it happens on Steam.
-
Pricing seems very honest for that machine, whatever the three. Weights almost 1kg less than mine and I'm sure it's quite thin so I'd say that in bulkyness is acceptable.
Guess it just depends the scenario one has to work in.
I'm already getting fed up of lugging mine around, I mean because I haven't really used it when I was at my gf. In the future I'll move it only if I'm visiting when she's at work or if I'm into some work I need to get done.

This is why I don't give money on kickstarter.
