Yeah there's definitely lots of cgi… this is why I'm pissed: these cuts look so final! Probably they're the first cuts they have completed our nearly completed for distribution.

Still one year seems so long. Gonna check how long it took for The Hobbit as a comparison. Afterall if you are using green screen is not like you can't build the cgi sets you know you have to build, so it's likely that part started during filming(?)

I'll second that but I'd go further back, I remember not liking American Gangster and before that Kingdom of Heaven was a pile of shit. Gonna watch the American Gangster again at some point, to see if it was just me at that time.

I have the director's cut, didn't know they had made graphical changes! In the specific video above I do prefer the original version, doesn't even look as filtered as much as it seemed from shots and I even devs playthrough I remember seeing before lunch.
