We are twinning with Girls Who Map :B

What strikes me from the screens is that the map seems to sit on a completely flat surface. You can easily break up the floor/grounds with a few sets of steps here and there, raising some buildings up or down a bit (I don't mean taller buildings, but elevate or lower their base).

Also create some clear rout using different floor textures, the open grounds are very alike, there's no path to guide the players.

And adopt more explicable title

Although I generally like it and I know it's not a finished product, I find a bit weird/clashing the old and new structures; (a) for the way they are mixed (I would expect to see a more clustered set old and new buildings, with some new additions to old buildings that have been re-purposed) and (b) the new buildings seem too clean to have so much plants growing in (although it's true that Nature takes back quickly).

I'd have a look at I Am Legend and Bionic Commando to perfect the aesthetics

Oh yes, that's great and can definitely work.

Along the same lines I would like to see scenarios where CT are on the offense, it makes sense that a special unit would want to destroy a stash of weapons or eg a downed vehicle that can't fall in enemies hands.
Maybe is more for a warfare scenario, but still I think could be implemented.

Found another bug in the pagination.

The "share this post" link for the last two posts in a page doesn't work: if you middle click/copy-paste it, sends you to the subsequent page. Link itself seems correct, but when it's translated the system gets the page wrong.
For eg: Puddy's post points to comment=395186, but when you open it in a new tab or copy paste, gets translated into this which sends to page 116 instead of 115. Same on page 114, sends you to #115 :XD:

This problem then translate to quoted posts (which is actually the way I found it, I was trying to follow a quoted post and was redirected just to top of the page).

The idea is nice, like Hitman Absolution... but I guess they would be concerned of people circumventing the system like custom maps some people use for achievements(?).

Mmh, I find that people don't read sticky indication topics.

Not saying there's no point in creating one, but then I'd go and edit the existing topics on first page to reflect that, I think it's easier for people to conform to something they see being used

Moved in the biggest room of the centre this past bank holiday weekend. I can't believe I had so much shit stashed in my 3 sqm room, I've made unusable the space here: there's no furniture.
Funny discovering priorities: while I was thinking where and what TV I should buy, my gf said "you need a mirror" I think this will be an interesting test to where draw the line in allowing her to input. Cos I want something of my own.

So I was going to ask you guys, with so many people moving, buying or renting and generally decorating, can you suggest an app/service where to design/visualize a room/apartment? I could build it in Hammer but doesn't seem practical at all, would be nice to have something where to quickly swap furniture to get a feel of the best solution.

Also I need to think about buying some furniture; not sure how much I want to spend, cos I either leave stuff here when I leave (and I dunno how long is gonna be since I'm not mapping) or get something nicer that I will then bring with me.

Installed the app before going to bed. Got up and had porridge and planning to start using the app straight away today. Didn't have time to setup the account because of work madness, and good eating intentions went down and down meal after meal. Ate a packet of biscuits while watching House Of Cards. I hate myself.

I think it disrupts the "serial pasting" process, but maybe it's just me. Definitely is not a major thing.

Another one: is it just for me or the (javascript) pagination doesn't work with back/forward? I was just at the last page of a topic, went to previous page, then hit backspace, page reloaded but was on the same page... hit backspace I was on the previous topic (i did jump from one to the other through the notification)

My impression or we seeing more of this than Batman v Superman??

Here at work a lady is doing some weight measuring so she can feel better about herself. After the last mud race, in a week, I've put on 4 pounds (cos I ate loads of shit -- I felt like I could). It's like if I'm really addicted, I keep saying "last one" or "I know it's this, I can stop it whenever", and another slice of cake is gone.

Would expect to see Doom demo at Quakecon, along the most juicy stuff Bethesda might have. Or there are announcements leading to think differently?
