Personally Ice & gate don't seem too busy, adding more would. From the screens the spawn view and fountain square are more, think it's all the windows. But maybe in-game is less noticeable

Congrats guys, very happy to hear such good news and you're having fun.
i feel eel a bit in a limbo, haven't managed to start anything for the mapping competition yet
very busy at work, too tired or hot to concentrate after…~
Plus my gf is really depressed for her work situation, she might find herself with nothing this coming week because some people are shits, she's so down that when I got her place she didn't properly hug me and barely spoke with me. So painful.

Right, since I managed to get the rooms for strength, agility and perception in one day, I was starting to try to level up people with one-two high stats… but I was wondering if is a waste of time.
at the moment I'm sending to wasteland the newbies, if they die I don't care, but often they find something useful so cheap win

the outfit I mean that they find new outfits, and I had the impression they weren't then available in the inventory.

@SotaPoika do you go for training your dwellers to be all rounders, or you go with highly specialised guys? Not sure if going on training for everything can payback… other than having something to do like I've been doing the last couple days, when I got enough people to be able to build training rooms.
got a lucky card with Three Dog, a uber charismatic, strong and agile guy, been using a lot in the radio and compensate in the supply shortages.
just revived my favourite explorer dweller, the lady I keep sending out… it started because she has low skills but she always find good stuff… I had to revive her as although she barely found enough caps to still profit from her revival… she had found the Armor Piercing Sniper Rifle!!
What I don't understand, seems like when my people came back with new outfits, I haven't always got those in the inventory 0.o

Well you have two machines now
do you not run compile on one and keep working/messing around on the other?in terms of heat these last few days was up to 32-33 in south UK, quite bad humidity (although not as bad as Italy). Well I still played Batman for hours, with my Asus Rog laptop set to "best performance"… must say the cooling in that machine is amazing: as I play with the game pad I touched the keyboard after a session around were the main chips are, and was still cool.

Well, I can see the appeal of wanting to start something from scratch, it feels easier as you follow your logic instead of learning something as complex as a game engine.
Working with a framework or doing from scratch teach different lessons, and I don't think you can do much if you start on a package, how are you supposed to understand what they're doing if you barely know the language?
this is what I think from my personal experience with web development: yes you can copy-paste from tutorials, and get a web page hooked to a database in minutes if using a framework… but you'll never understand what goes into it. At 17 you are out to learn.
To further my argument, there are a lot of bright young minds, and tackling a rendering engine is not impossible, just good for practice.
Friend of mine for his final exam in high school (so when he was turning 18) brought the teachers a doom-like 3d engine. For the uni final exam he brought a new engine, this time quake-like, but you could also shoot and there were a couple baddies walking around. He had actually asked me to make a couple maps to see what the engine could handle, he was importing bsp from quake format but he never gave me the executable so was basically impossible to help him cos how are you supposed to build something on someone else feedback?
The mistake is thinking this is not gonna be a throw away project: you cannot compete as a beginner with engines that come out of decades of development experience.
So I say work on an engine if you feel like, work on the basics to learn but know you are not gonna profit from it. Also learn not to be protective of your work, as you can see from my experience, you lose wiling workforce if you are.
if you want to make a game, it's better learn to use one of the established and free packages. Still this will be a learning experience, you are not gonna profit from your first game. It took Rovio 10 years before they came out with a hit - they should explain it in this presentation

Well there might be bad CG, questionable casting, but I really like the idea that twists everything around. I kinda would like to watch it now without knowing about the twist, sitting there and see the original terminator meeting the double, and going "wtf just happened?"

26h and I'm 48%.

Ye but, it does

I'm so into it, my free time has been almost completely sunk into it.
The hallucinations are great.

Quote from FMPONE
Santorini is roughly 40% complete right now.
Wow, this is amazing!
I unfortunately haven't been to Santorini, but been in Greece for summer holidays several times, this captures the soul of certain spots and villages so very well.

I like this modern architecture a lot. Seems to be coming along well

Aside: I think that in Ubisoft Toronto they had very similar reference, cos one map of Blacklist I recently played was set in a mansion very similar to some of those photos

Tickets to go to Malta for two weeks for my (end of) summer holiday.

I finally started watching 24 Day 9, the first 6 episodes were pretty much what 24 has always been
bit weird but nice that it's set somewhere you know and you walk around often. Also got back to House Of Cards tonight and watched the last 3 episodes of the season... good ending, although was clearly the direction it was heading. I find interesting that this solutions despite seemingly less exciting in the short term, seems to offer much more in the long run.

Thanks for the clarifications Thrik, really appreciate all the effort you're putting into this, wish I could help more than this.
Just want to point out that recently I've been using Chrome on iOS, posts in the last weeks came mainly from there when on mobile, and the viewport problem is the same here.
I know that fluidity serves accessibility better, but shouldn't there be a way to enlarge text instead of zooming and scrolling? This translates to the desktop as well, I don't think the adaptive design has been properly studied: eg if I'm not full screen and CTRL+, you get to the weird situation where text enlarges but all columns and pictures shrink. I know the intentions (and result) makes the website readable everywhere, but other websites do it better in my opinion. If all this is noticeable and feels out of place, is because this doesn't happen everywhere else.

In terms of typing posts I'm having a bit less problems, but the editor is still doing its own thing behind the scenes…
ie: tapping return for a new line something interferes with the OS and keyboard doesn't capitalise neither goes back to letters if you had the numbers out. Autocorrect doesn't fully work properly, but seems improved.
i had the problems like @laminutederire of words not displaying while typing and had to refresh page several times, but now it's been a while doesn't happen.
The thing that I find annoying the most is at the very roots: the new elastic design hasn't a proper viewport set, because page keep re-adjusting, doesn't zoom out to full view after posting for eg. And stuff like that.

In this day and age of multiplatform engines... (why) do we still need ports?
Anyway, apparently WB has redirected resources and Rocksteady is working to fix it themselves... from the news article I read (Italian), there are concerns of the Season Pass content being delayed for consoles because of that. Dunno if it's just them speculating or there are indications.
I was just thinking if we should have seen this coming... I mean, at like a month before release I was contacted by Amazon to say that retail PC version of Batman was cancelled, but due to early preorder I would have gotten a limited print. I thought that was only because they decided digital would be more profitable, but in hindsight can't help thinking they saw this coming, and covered their asses: can you imagine having to also recall physical copies?
Anyway here a post where they explain their todo list, here Sefton Hill confirms that they are working internally.
At this point, since the game runs fine for me, I'm dreading updates and thinking I should maybe disable updates until they get to the proper patch... I most definitely don't want anything to screw up with my copy halfway through the game!

47%. Pivotal turn in the story.
If Arkham Asylum, despite its dark nature, was a comic book... this is The Killing Joke of graphic novels.
