Watched several things without posting about it.

X-Men trilogy, yes I've never seen it: was quite disappointing, I'm particularly annoyed with Wolverine, I know he's a fan favourite, the character is a badass… but in the movies is incredibly under-developed and under-used if you think that he's probably the Marvel hero with the most screen time to date!!! None of the 3 movies struck me particularly, they only have good moments (like X2 the Nightcrawler intro). Also I hate the Jane Grey character, that woman annoys me just because of her, her whiny character didn't change anything.

Elysium: seen that last night and fuck… it's sci-porn, awesome visuals but an incredibly dull story with no real twists. Jodie Foster is particularly bad in acting and annoying-empty character, I'm happy she dies violently.

I'm a bitch for sales, bought Mafia 2 and yesterday Metro Redux Bundle.

And yes plenty of new clothes cos with gym I got a big bigger, and now with too much eating I'm slightly more bigger at waist ?

100% to see the complete ending. For me this was the best Batman Arkham, the story is darker and more mature than City. Great twists as well.

Giving it a rest for a bit before doing the Story+, might get back to Splinter Cell or just do work like I should

I'm surprised I'm not feeling the need of the challenges this time, which I was addicted on previous titles… I guess that's because here "everything is in-game" so positive for the immersion, but less interesting in terms of bite-sized gameplay (I used to tackle challenges on lunch breaks)

Yeah I know, I didn't get the game for many reasons, but was hyped anyway, would consider attempting a map if we were like to make a contest.

Sorry forgot I posted, still getting a choppy experience with Youtube on Firefox, yesterday got the "stop script" message, but in general just opening tabs of videos slooows down the browser. As well as Gmail.

Shouldn't Youtube be HTML5 anyway? Is not like I'm getting messages from FF that Flash has been blocked.

OT: It's funny that the people that were shooting Apple down when they decided not to support Flash on iOS, now are the bigger proposer or opposition to Flash. Yes like Google, those that at the time were mocking Apple from the I/O stage.

In terms of web history I can't believe they can't do an open flash player just for retro compatibility.

Well actually Win 10 streamlines the whole system: Win 8 so called "apps" run in a sandbox, the whole "Metro" is a basically a different system. Win 10 cleanses that, allows "apps" to run in "windows" etc.
I don't call that "minimal change under the hood".
I hope the minimal "metro flat" look is now native, cos often in Win 8 application glitches tear down the mask and you can see the shitty W7 skin underneath.

I got the proposed update, haven't done it because I want to read some reviews first, if it fucks up games and tools or not.

I remember about the problems with the race being all over the print(!!) reviews... I don't remember swearing too much to get through tho. I remember one of the complains was because the game was quite demanding and during the race machines were struggling; I played quite some time after it came out and don't remember having problems.

Just asking as recently I watched the X-men trilogy (yes was missing it!) and I find it to be quite poor, I don't understand how people praised it and got so attached to Wolverine: it's the character with the most screen time in the whole Marvel movies, and still really sucks! So many movies and they haven't been able to develop it, I'm kinda happy Jackman is gonna be replaced cos feels it's the only way to make it meaningful

Play the first one, you'll be amazed by what they had achieved considering the machines available at the time.

Surely they've been doing sandboxes for less than Rockstar, but lots of the secondary activities are in GTA just because they can afford to pay a thousand people. I haven't played GTA5, I know there's shitload but until the 4th most accessory stuff was just filler content. Sure, it's all "necessary" to make it feel more immersive and alive.

Yeah I'm with HP. Mafia is a masterpiece... I loved it so much I never replayed it cos I was scared it would ruin my memory of it.

That's why I was incredibly hyped for the sequel, but lost more and more interest when it got closer and then released, as lot of people where criticizing. I finally was able to try it on the Xbox and found it really average, felt like a GTA clone instead of a game with its own identity. Thanks to the announcement is greatly discounted on Steam atm, I'll think about it

Yes, good points. What I mean is that from the hands-on seems like Valve's product is the best coming to the market... so yes other than money, I can't see why changing boat, other than the challenge of scoring one for the new team.

Back on the HL3, I find the guy quite nice and fun but when we get into this realm of speculation we can only agree or disagree based on our... faith. The main flaw in thinking in that video is the first consideration: management wouldn't move staff around "because desks have wheels". Well, Valve is a company and needs to get products out at some point, freedom is good but you can't let people chase butterflies every other month. A release can't be affected by people being mercurial, and it's documented that the team in the past halted every long term project to release L4D2 if my memory doesn't fail me.
