Keep Talking An Nobody Explodes.
Woke up this morning tagged about this on facebook by friends.
Anybody knows it already, plays it? It's one of those simple ideas that are incredibly clever!
Also supports Oculus, so potentially could be a great party game where people take turns in being the defuser!Trailer

Sounds like he has an idea to pick up where he left off

Blackdog, do you work for Ubisoft or are you just a really big fan of the FC-series?

i just liked a lot FC3 and 4 (although haven't finished 4 yet, put it aside in February and never picked it up).
But it just gets to me that people are complaining a lot about clones… when the game couldn't be different? Doesn't sound objective to me.
@Overdoziz yeah looks like hunting will be way more prominent than previous chapters. And I'll tell you that I disliked the hunt before, don't like killing animals and they forced us to do for sport, trophies. In this one seems like it will be about survival instead. And those men were getting everything from animals so crafting should be more deep.
i think that the chosen era fits the brand perfectly, although I would have never wished to play as a prehistoric man.

I've just placed an order.
As all the Steelseries mice seem to be couple years old and the Sensei's lateral buttons seem too easy to press, I went for the cheaper Kana V2[Blocked Image: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/71DW98dr-HL._SL1500_.jpg]
also got a cheap mouse pad, I have a Roccat surface but when I got it I didn't know that it was a sticky one and that after 4-5 times of being pulled from the table it wouldn't stick anymore, now there's some air bubble right in the middle...

and also got a laptop sleeve. Wanted something slimmer, but all the neoprene cases I've seen are either too thing or don't seem good quality. This sure looks strong and at 20£ seems very honestly priced, maintaining a slim factor to fit in a backpack.

As much as I loved both FC3 and 4 (and 1 and 2 tbh), I think it's safe to say 4 was just 3 in Tibetan clothing. Yes it brought some new things to the table, but then so does COD with each iteration.
I'm not sure I like the look of this, it's like they've taken the Shangri La part of FC4 and expanded it into a game. But the video looks uber scripted so I shall reserve judgement until gameplay.
well there's no point in titling a game the same if you make a totally different game… what do you expect, a Far Cry that becomes Sniper Elite one chapter, an over the top shooter the other, come on.
Really being too critic!
What has COD done in 10 years, it gave us 2 sagas (one still ongoing, thanks to narrative bullshits tricks of dead characters not really dead!). Ghost and Advanced Warfare they feel like a spin off born from the acknowledgment of franchise tiredness, ripping off the games that COD players didn't play because they were busy with the previous COD.
Far Cry had the courage of (mostly) reinventing itself every time. Every chapter is unique. A different setting is a fucking big deal, without even pulling out the insinuations of COD actually recycling assets from one game to the other.
How can you compare the two brands when you go from a colourful island to bleak Africa with an accent on "survivalism", to an island again and then Tibet.
Yes the FC3 and FC4 have the same gameplay, but as said, different location is a big deal. Also in between you got for very cheap a beefy reskin that has been just praised by everyone.
Haven't seen all these negative comments for Just Cause 3, which really is the same of JC2, just with better graphics.
Sure is likely Primal will share mechanics that you can link back to FC3, but than what would be the point in calling it the same. But this is an FPS that has the courage to abandon fire weapons altogether, I think it's unfair to label it already as a clone! I'm really happy and appreciate Ubisoft for allowing a brand to sway so much, making every chapter unique (stand alone) when they could very possibly force the hand in continuing on a single narrative thread for a decade.

So this game is gonna be bigger than The Witcher 3? Wtf!

also nothing will be shown until 2017?? What was the point announcing it… I don't understand marketing.

It is, but is not… at least they do more original things with it, not just copies every year

After a tease yesterday, Ubisoft announced today the new entry in the franchise. We will go all melee back to the Stone Age in Primal.
A clever idea to really use and build on top of the soft crafting system that we have been accustomed to in the last years.

Congratulations on the placement in the contest, although I was hoping that as the most visually appealing map this would come up on top.
Im sure that with the final polish this will end up in an operation

Well @(HP) i dunno what drives their artistic choice, but putting knowledge of zombies in a fiction would mean that in the fiction they would have fantasised about zombies… and writer's fiction was basically future telling. It's like if in Star Trek they would actively refer to the 2000s and movies like Minority Report and Matrix(?).

Screenshot this weeks ago, forgot/couldn't post.
This happened a couple other times, but it's quite random and non-reproduceable. Sorry can't remember if the animation didn't complete or if the alert moved up with scrolling or when keyboard came up
As you can see I was on wifi so can't say was because of being on cell network…

They don't know what to come up with to sell some copies anymore, if this is not symptom of franchise fatigue…

Woke up this morning early, checked the time and saw a text from my mum less than one hour before, informing my grandad passed last night.
I feel I'm a shit as I haven't seen him in years. Promised to go and postponed several times. Was supposed to go this July but situation was messy (my parents were going to move him in with them, and then he changed his mind).
I didn't even sent the postcard I bought explicitly for him during holiday, hell... I haven't even wrote it!! :sad:Flying home tomorrow at 6am, yes it's absurd but funeral is already sorted
I'm lucky I work where I work in this regard. -
lol, think i've seen an extract.
From what I remember the Zombieland bit with the girl is a flashback that comes after the initial exposition, so I think they mask the usual dumbness by making him first look like a veteran. Which for me worked fine. -

Can't say I've ever had a problem with a Razer mouse. Had like 5 of them now and they've all lasted me years.
Facebook might not be the best place to reach them? Twitter or email might be better? I'm sure they'd want to sort you out.
Well their PRs post every day, how can you not see a message?
Problem is they don't owe me anything technically, warranty is long gone. I just thought the problems I had were because of using it on the Mac… I trusted the brand and no one could have expected the mouse to die completely. I'm sure it's an isolated case.
I asked for a discount, I think that's just fair as I was never able to use the mouse basically.
Anker (battery packs) for eg offered me a discount to buy a smaller unit when I asked if they could replace mine I wasn't using because too bulky - unfortunately I contacted them 1-2 days after the 30 days limit for returns, otherwise they would have replaced it.
