Sounds cool! My friends and I were doing well to trust IO in knowing the long-time fans and measuring the game to accommodate also their needs :)

Would that mean you couldn't use Steamworks?

So the game ufficially will be on Windows 10 as well.

I haven't seen any news, just some users posted about in the Italian forum I follow. O don't have time to go further into the matter just found information to redeem a Windows 10 copy for free when preordering the XOne version on the official website

    http://www.quantumbreak.com/windows10/

At the bottom there are the requirements as well, which seem steep. One good feature will be, for those who play on both platforms, shared progress, so you can play on either machine and not worry of replaying the same part of the story.

Dunno if there's any word from the team who maintain this forum system but... I have some problems in tagging people in a post. Dunno if it's my connection that is slow or something. I just had to tag a person here and copy-paste in another post to get it to work (dunno why even after reloading the page in the other topic I couldn't tag Sentura - while Sprony came up after I had tagged him in my first draft of this post here)

We haven't touched on this for a while. @Sprony can we change the title with the official "World Of Assassination"?

Beta is close for those who pre-ordered.
I just watched a preview from an Italian network and I'm a bit worried when they commented the map will highlight locations where 47 can put in motion events that will mask the homicide as an incident. I hope there's an option or that at higher difficulty this is disabled because I'd like to find out myself... @Sentura

The Italian map that was shown in a trailer some months ago already looks amazing

So one of the last things that game trailers has done is the review of this game

GT was pretty much the ONLY game news website that I visit(ed), all others, from what I can tell are way too politically correct and boring.

Mmh I dunno, at some point I got the impression they became victims of their own success. Geoff became too much of a prima donna, also it all stinked of sellout.

Still, was definitely good content, they were the only ones to access the big devs, have those round table discussions.

At least this is the cheapest way to get expertise with an updated version of the CryEngine, if one is looking to getting a job in a company that has adopted it.

Finally watching Rome. Loving it so far. It's like Game of Thrones but without all the filler bullshit

I could never get into it much! I dunno why, but wasn't as captivating… or I wasn't in the mood. Never finished going through season 2

Well but when you have that engine for free, can't you mess with the code as much as you want? If they shut down wouldn't you be allowed to do whatever you want with it?

seriously? wow, I have no idea why the shipping costs are that high, it's just a book. Not sure if you can buy just the digital version there.

probably signed package etc? I paid 49€ (So you do the conversion) to get HL2 Gold (the collector's edition) shipped from US.

I've not really been able to get into this one. It does a lot of stuff well but the lack of a unified narrative that sort of guides you through it makes it laborious for me

That is the feeling I got from the summa of all trailers, and was the "fear" I was trying to explain with my comments around release day.

I like games that don't think the player is dumb, but the amount of puzzles that I've read are in to complete the game seems unnecessary in a game like this. I'm wondering if I can find the time to play it all, would I get bored or stuck?

Got this in my inbox: -22% on pre-purchase of Doom on GreenManGaming. Dunno if it'll work or if it's tied to my account, but I don't intend using it so first come first served:

    Interesting!
And, is Twitch really that relevant? Can't see why you need to integrate that thing in a game. (I'm off all the watching people play thing)

I was once an avid GT consumer, really enjoyed their exclusive content and the tech talks, all those interviews with devs that they would always manage to arrange that no one else was doing, but having less and less time even for just gaming I dropped all that part of my daily routine long time ago.

Still, how the hell can they shut down from one day to the next? Employees never had a feeling this was happening??

I had been thinking if the website was still relevant, but I think they still had their exclusivities at last big shows. I never checked, but I had the feeling recently that Geoff Keighley had already jumped ship and was doing more things on his own?

Saw it Wednesday morning, I'm interested!

Although when at first reading the title of news reports was hoping for a single player game.

Im only not convinced by the necessity of recreating real locations with accuracy. There's nothing wrong in fantasy maps that we've seen in DoD

After The Dark, one of those "social experiment" movies; in this a philosophy teacher pushes the students to imagine doomsday scenarios and who would they do.

Deceiving trailer, as was unclear that everything was imagination. Which strips away all the interest for anything that happens on screen.

Also the motives of the teacher are "unmasked" at the end and makes everything even more stupid.

A really stupid movie. Who the hell agreed to spend money to produce this movie I wonder.
