Damn… I have just started working on HL2 maps for the contest over Runthinkshootlive, when I should spend all my spare time writing job applications anyway ?

At least first deadline is just a block out, will try thinking of a layout and see if I can make the time designing a kill box… but I'm definitely in that "wanted - have no time" position :(

I'm just thinking of a similar solution to those untangle arms for mouse leads. Something that would rotate when you are moving around (just need a very loose hinge so that it rotates with very light pulls).

You're right Thrik, thought was confirmed but can't find articles. Everyone (critics/commenters/viewers) seem to give it for granted now, since was portrayed so well.

There were interesting speculation from the nerds about Punisher, in the sense that he has a lot to do with Deadpool as well in the comics, and I think another character, suggesting that a show could be sort of a shared space for two (anti)heroes.

Think it's the light behind, creates a shadow that makes it pop much less. But maybe he plans to have like glowing eyes that will counter that.

    Quantum Broken

"as expected" the game has been ported poorly on PC, unstable performance and regular crashes on nVidia cards

Nice work @Jacket, but if I may, I find the contrast between rounded and straight platform in the third shot a bit jarring.

Yeah guys, didn't you read it? The Punisher stand-alone show is already approved, even before the Daredevil S2 came out.

First Luke Cage in September tho.

PS: there's another show planned as well, something like Iron Fist? A guy in yellow suit, I think friend with Luke Cage. It's gonna be portrayed by the gay knight from Game Of Thrones, the blonde that Sansa was hoping to marry to get away from King's Landing.

If you are interested in little details, tidbits, rumours, I suggest following Emergency Awesome on YT, I quite like it. He condenses a lot information on things like origin stories and powers that you would have otherwise to read on Wikipedia. He also often suggests the best comic book version to read to get a background on that certain character/movie.

Haven't seen the new Star Wars yet, was just mildly interested. Saw the trailer for Rogue One and I'm much more interested, dunno why but I feel a slightly different approach. The guy on Emergency Awesome says they are going a bit more faithful to the original movies.

Think people that want VR need to install some kind of wire support that will dangle from the ceiling so you don't trip.

Surprised I haven't seen one in the demo rooms yet

Meanwhile, Valve has found a way to properly advertise this, not stupid CG holograms on an "iron man cam"

Well with the limitations that there are now, I'm very not looking forward in getting those on Win, even if I would have actually done it.

I don't have a PS so I've been thinking for a while of swapping the 360 for a One, if I can find some deal in some shop; also to get a blu ray player.

But yeah, then there are not really other games I'm looking forward to.

Not sure if is same date release @Pampers.

When I heard the news I was very happy, but then mates started telling me all the problems the Windows Store has, first of all being unable to decide where to install software you get from there... so in my case I can't even install this because where I can find space for 75gb of game on a 128gb system disk??

There are other things that if you want I can go and dig, the painted picture was very discouraging. But you can just look at the embarrassing release for Gears Of War remaster, performance was terrible on most systems and patches weren't coming. I remember seeing comments from Gamespot or Game Informer but I can only find this rant now

I should make a video showing my method maybe. @blackdog would that help you ?

Well you just read it is not like in posts before, or did I misinterpreted what Vorontsov wrote? Also to consider, on top of just modelling, if you are getting into the custom things, you also need to learn texturing(?).

Anyway, I would be happy in seeing your workflow, although I must be honest, it's mostly laziness I haven't started anything yet. Also "occasion", I mean seems stupid to start using energy on modeling, when I have never yet published completed a whatever map. That's what I'm trying to focus at the moment, that's why I went with the singleplayer (I find it conceptually easier than multiplayer).

@Vorontsov think he's so focused on CSGO because you want to see results for your work, people starting need that "ego boost" (that's why I still haven't tackled any modelling myself, knowing you won't see results for months is a drag).

Isn't the process of getting models in UE4 much easier? To get a little reward wouldn't be cool to render the tests on there for eg?
