Fingers crossed for inclusion in the next update. This design is much stronger than Blackgold.

    Thanks!

The placement of those escalators right infront of that rear wall seems unnatural (assuming it's a mall).

Also malls don't have that many solid walls but way more display windows.

Its actually the ticket area of an Airport. At the middle towards the right is the entrence. Bottom center on the left is the ticket area, with escalators on the left and right side of the building leading to the gates(behind where the picture was taken) - The escalators is something im still trying to get right.

Nah seriously, it's incredibly dark and I can't see anything to comment on other than the lit up signs.

im not particularly looking for feedback, only posted because someone said keep posting maps. NMRiH generally has pretty dark environments, so having a tiny pic + white background makes it hard to see. In game, with the Post processing and Flashlight, its lit fine. Besides im just grey boxing a little test map to learn how the game plays out.

Man this guy seems like a total fucking dick head. I personally dont enjoy Tuscan as a layout, but I respect people who do. Him working on it to make it better and re-release to CSGO is really cool and a responsible thing to do as an author of a fan favorite map. But for him to work on it for 3 years? and it to come out pretty mediocre and have so many bugs and issues, then when he defends himself+map about why its in this state, to lash out and call out FMPone, for what ever reason, is childish. He deliberately play tested with a very small focus group and never really publicized it for feedback.

I used to aspire to the old community map devs for CS, but this just is another case of dont meet your idols/heroes.

I can tell already from the screen shots the layout and flow of the map have improved a lot since testing, great job! I look forward to the next play test.

The over head shot may not be the most flattering but when you're on ground level, the garages I feel, are detailed in a way they look right, but not so much that it distracts.

What's up with all the yellow? No criticism, just curious.

Well it just happens to be another common color for the environment. DUST1, Dust 2, Mirage all have a similar color scheme, bare a few buildings with a blue color. A lot of shipping yards we used for reference use a lot of bright saturated colors for what I imagine, safety reasons and regulation. We included it into our map again this time, because It feels unique and stays true to the environment. We did however, from what we learned from Black Gold, tone it down.

I'm glad you are listening and responding. It's important for me because i felt like Black Gold had a huge potential, so I'm excited to see new maps from you. And hopefully, get involved into shaping it.

Thanks. Horse and I would of had an update out for this much sooner, since we released this back in April, but that is also when we started working on Black Gold and getting it ready for the OP for Valve. With what we learned from our initial release of Black Gold, and this past Operation, Import in my eyes is a much better map in all terms, including aesthetics, but also layout/gameplay. Hopefully people will take notice, im quite proud of it, but that could just be my own bias.

Outside garages could use some brush-work. Also, I'd love if you used some more toned-down colors for containers. Bright colors can make the eyes get tired pretty easy.

Yeah. Playing a competitive match(maybe casual too) will be added to the Watch tab under "your games" tab. It can save up to maybe 8 at any time, but will replace them in order of oldest to newest as you play them. So if you want to save any match ever, just click the Match and download it.

Do you guys record everytime you play? If so, what software?

I got a 6k with the P250 the other day. Can't really prove it though, only got this picture

6k? Must of been casual! Anyway in regards to recording, the answer is no. If something cool happens in a match Ill go to my Watch tab after, and download the match then go through it in the GOTV client or what ever it is, do some console commands, and record.

    This-is-awesome.

It's kind of striking to hear developers speak up. Makes me wonder... how cool would it be to have a game developer talk show... Mapcore TV... *thinks* with some kind of Late Night Show style. That'll put a face on the games that are being developed.

Yes. That would be so cool! I dont know if anyone here remembers the old Source related Pod Cast, Podcast 17. I personally would totally subscribe to a Mapcore Podcast. Plus there are a lot of well known people here.

Plan to move to California, the Bay Area sometime in November and live with my friend there. In regards to that, and my recent payout from the CSGO Operation, I bought a new pair of Nike Shoes so I can look good when I get to Sunny California.

Man there are so many Toxic players in this game. I just finished a match earlier with two of my friends on Mirage. The enemy team had a blatant cheater, he 360 no scope scout'd our entire team running down mid, plus his account was so new it didn't have a steam page yet. I being upset, called him a faggot cheater. For the next grueling 30 minute match, the enemy team harassed me about Black Gold, and overall insulting me. Then they try justifie it say I cant react to it because im a "Pillar in the Community"

    Really frustrating match.
