Quote from duxI'm not enjoying it as much as I'd hoped. The stealth sections at the start just annoyed me too much that it is souring the rest of the experience for me.
It's worth sticking to it dude. Plus, escapes should be a sneaky affair ![]()
Quote from HipshotIs this a steam works game (if I buy it anywhere else, does it register through steam)? Have it ever been on sale yet?
It's on Steam. You can buy a key from a 3rd party for 15 euro. It's worth that money!
You know, Assassins Creed as a franchise is like a delicious looking chocolate pie with whipped cream. It whets your appetite, the first few bites are amazing but the more you eat, the more sick you start to feel. Eventually you can't even stomach the look or the smell of the pie and you're done with them for a while. The same goes for this franchise. It's overstayed it's welcome.
I enjoyed both a lot. Spent roughly 150 hours combined on them. But they weren't without criticism. There wasn't a lot that really bothered me though. Sure, they couldn't hold a candle next to the originals but still. Only exception being the Brotherhood of Steel. In the original Fallout this was such an mystical organisation that you just wanted to be a part of. The game did give you a glimpse but never showed all it's cards. In Fallout 2 they were present but nothing more. Fallout 3 however completely destroyed the mysteries surrounding the Brotherhood. The appeal was gone. Power Armor was just another armor. No, I would like this new game to stay as far away as possible from the Brotherhood, Super Mutants or the Enclave. Let them come up with new interesting factions like the Gunrunners, Children of Cathedral, Slavers and Thieves Guild and so on.
What are you doing exactly? You could have addressed the above in a single reply ![]()
Seems like they threw the books out of the window.
I finally got around to playing the first 2 hours or so. It's a great game. MachineHead basically made an tribute to the classics. It just lives and breathes Wolfenstein. Plus, the castle has never looked better. I'm also digging all the easter eggs. This is what I've found so far:

Quote from duxAfter James Cameron divorced his wife she got all the rights to the Terminator films. That's what. He gets them back in 2020 or so.
No, that didn't happen. Gale Ann Hurd wasn't his wife yet. He sold her the rights for one dollar so that she would produce the movie with him directing it. That was the deal back in 83. The other part has to to with North America copyright law. He is the beneficiary. North American rights to the franchise will revert to him back in 2019. That is because the copyright reversion now takes place after 35 years and the Terminator was made in 1984.
If Arnold is involved, there's not much that I don't know ![]()
It's actually not Doom 4. It's just called Doom. You know, to make things more clear in the series......
Already have my IMAX tickets for this Thursday. It's gonna be good!
I just read that Koji Igarashi, the guy behind a lot of the good Castlevenia games, wants to make another one (except for the name of course).
Enough said right?
NO MORE RUMORS!!!! Give me specifics Bethesda! Who do we know that works there? Is there anyone we can kidnap and torture for information?
I bet that none of you so called 'Artists' can Photoshop this good
Oh and Buddy, If they spent half as much time writing a good script than they did enhancing Emilia's tits you'll be satisfied.

Budget is one thing. But then you should say that the number of sales did not cover the expenses. Saying that 2 million is weak, especially for this kind of game, is ludicrous.
Sold over 2 million units, Sega considers it weak. What's wrong with these people!
Yeah, it's a portfolio piece. Buddy called. Impressive work though.
