    I don't know about that @blackdog. I'm sure you have a point. But you can't deny there's probably some sort of truth in there. Even though Marc responded he didn't really say anything. It's something that every rep would say. There's no way a company would acknowledge these claims. His reply is meaningless. He just talks about anonymous sources being bad and that fear wouldn't lead them. But he never says the video is wrong or that they are still planning on releasing it. Personally, I think it has more to do with perfectionism (which he comments on in regards to the story). Gabe already pointed out (I would have to look up the interview) that traditional single player is a thing of the past. They need something, an angle, that elevates the game instead of just another sequel. Half-Life brought a well worked out narrative to the FPS genre. Half-Life 2 expanded on that with physics. Half-Life 3 should add something revolutionary as well. Even though I enjoyed both episodes, it was more of the same. Until they find what they're looking for, I don't expect Half-Life 3 to be made. Also, the whole point about money, regardless of numbers, seems legit. It's not like they need to make it for the cash.

    I think that Steam has become too big for them. Too big as in, it takes up a lot of resources. Games have become secondary and even the last couple of games were made in collaboration with different studios (not all of them). I wouldn't be surprised if they stopped with games all together (maybe turn into a publisher instead, buying up mods and stuff). Especially with the focus on Steam machines, Steam OS, VR and so on. Plus, nothing they make will ever live up to the hype. It's simply impossible.

    No, it's not coming! I'm not hear to crush dreams. However, I do feel that this is something worthy of proper discussion. So let's talk about it because I for one, certainly agree with this video. But keep in mind, let's not start trolling otherwise we'll be forced to lock the thread again.

  • Marvel Cinematic Universe

    I saw Ant-Man yesterday. Well, it sure is very different from you're usual Marvel movie. It doesn't even really feel like one. That's not a bad thing though. There are some great jokes, lots of comedy and it's very entertaining. Certainly not the best they've made but also far from the worst. I see a future for this character. I was also worried about Paul Rudd but it works out fine. The only thing that is starting to bother me are these throw away villains. It would be great if they got some more lasting and memorable villains. Teasing Thanos for years doesn't cut it.

  • Breaking Bad

    Well, we continued. The second half of season 4 is excellent. The finale is a masterpiece. Plus, Skylar is finally submissive and not that annoying anymore. I have to give mad props to the writers. It's all just so original and well thought out. Like everything is pure genius. How they handled the cartel for instance. Holy shit, that was good. We're now at season 5 episode 5.

I think she'll be left with her family and her sister when the empire finally collapses. The rest we are going to be bury. Jessie will probably end up in jail. I kinda wish it would have a happier ending but I just don't see that happening.
