Called my friend the instructor today. We're going measure everything this friday (I'll post the embarassing results) and start my weight loss schedule (he's currently making it). Thanks OP! Just have to restrain myself because the first thing that came to mind when thinking about going back was the saying: "If the bar ain't bendin', then you're just pretendin".

Ok, since there doesn't seem to be room for humor here, I'm going to reply with a serious response. Actually, I'm going put myself out there. I used to work out 6 days a week. I was super fit, well build with a six pack and all. Then I stopped, I got a office job. I got married and the biggest killer of all, I quit smoking. I've gained 40 pounds and got fat. I need to do something. If you guys are really serious about motivating each other, so will I. I'll weigh myself, measure everything and go back to the gym while keeping you updated on the results. I would like to see the same of you.
In the mean time, I could probably help with some questions. Even though I let myself go, I did work out intensively for over 5 years. I've picked up quite a bit and one my best friends is a very good fitness instructor/personal trainer. For starters, what Sentura posted earlier is some solid advice.

Get the hand lotion Dux, this is a motion comic leading up towards the new film. I will not be held responsible for blisters and such.

Speechless dude. People who say such things should be hugged, around the neck, with a rope, seriously.

If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen. Or in this case, the game industry. Good call. People will always bitch, criticize or try to make fun of you. Or sometimes, you make an ass out of yourself. Take it like a man or GTFO.
The way he did it though, is like Pogo said, childish. Reminds me of my little nephew, whenever it ain't going his way he doesn't want to do anything anymore. Same thing. Expect Fish is supposedly mature. And also, leave with dignity but doing this through twitter.....

It flopped at the box office but it did great in DVD/BR sales. There's now an official petition going on for a sequel. Please help out and spread the word.

Unlikely I know, but I got to try.
For years I've been wanting to enjoy Gamescom but it always ended up in failures. The first time, we went on a Saturday, don't do that. Although we left early to be the first there, what seemed like a billion other people, had the same idea. One hour after opening, average line 4 hours.
The second time, we went on a Friday hoping there would be less people. Maybe there were, but not that we noticed. 30 degrees outside, a sauna inside, we felt we almost died in there so after 2 hours we left. Not to mention the smell of all those sweating people. The horror.....
Last year I begged my work to ask for press cards (we're a large cable company) and tried to bribe Gamescom to give us press cards. Even after indecent proposals, offering up friends for slavery and promising a night out with my wife, no dice.
Could anyone here hook us up? Maybe someone from Crytek? Will pay of course

I was really looking forward to this. The trailer put me of though. The special effects need some work, didn't expect the supernatural stuff, but I'm still interested.

I was searching for something and came across this topic. I'm hereby reviving it (hopefully). I see that True Romance has already posted. I would basically post the entire movie Full Metal Jacket but let's leave it at these two:

Based on the comments I watched Battle Royale yesterday. It was typical weird Japanese cinema but actually pretty good. Lame ending though.

Quote from Serenius
The car stuff was tolerable if you switched over to a 360 controller. Kind of a shame, really. You'd think a studio that was built on PC gaming would know how to make vehicle controls for a PC game. Then again, steering with the mouse and accelerating/decelerating with W/S just might have been too mundane of a control scheme.

Due to a disappointing Summer Sale (great start, but too much repetition afterwards) I went nuts the last 15 minutes buying the Wolf Pack (Wolfenstein 3D/Spear of Destiny/RTCW), Doom Classic Pack (Ultimate Doom/Doom II/Final Doom/Master Levels), Quake Pack (Quake+2 EXPS/Quake II+2 EXPS/Quake 3 + TA) and the Doom 3 Pack (Doom3/RoE). That's 17 games/expansions of which I already own uh....17. Why buy it? Because I'm too lazy to search for/install from CD/DVD and enter serials. First world problems. No wonder the rest hates us.

If I take the trouble to learn what's up with these badges and start collecting them, does that mean my E-Penis will increase? Because if not, what's the point exactly? Do I get free stuff? Naked ladies pleasuring me while I play games on Steam? Or forever alone with only badges to conform why?
