I was waiting for you to open this topic. As always, we Europeans have to wait. But Harrison Ford in a scifi is a nobrainer for me. I'm going to report back once I've seen it. I'm not gonna watch trailers or videos though. I want to be surprised.

They do have humor at EA's tech support:
QuoteAlso, if you have video of the naked dancing part of your troubleshooting process that would be great!

Say what?
Policy regarding second hand games has changed.

I decided to visit the Battlefield forums again since I still can't play and I've heard no confirmation regarding this specific problem. Topics about technical issues are being closed and referred to EA's Answer HQ. I hate Answer HQ so I wanted to have some fun. Here's a little bit of the post:
- Custom config with recommended tweaks.
- Change all the settings to low.
- Run the 32 bit version.
- Update all my drivers (Directx, Videocard, Windows update, etc)
- Reinstall the game.
- Unpark CPU cores or park them (both were suggested)
- Change Physx setting in Nvidia Control Panel.
- Close all other programs, including Chrome, when the game is starting.
- Reinstalling Directx. Reinstalling all the executables in in the Battlefield folder.
- Reinstalling Microsoft Framework.
- Changed Nvidia Control Panel settings to Max Pre-Rendered Frames to 1. Also disabled Geforce experience and did a clean install of the drivers without installing the HD audio driver.
- Danced around the PC naked while doing an Voodo enchantment.

Guys, awesome news, they are going to make Terminator: The Videogame as well!

What's up with the bundles in your countries? It's almost released here but still no official word about the Killzone bundle or other bundles for that matter. I've preorder this masterrace system but I would like to have a bundle!
Is bundle the right English word for it btw?

There has been plenty of communication from DICE, although only on the forums and not in an official press release if that's what you're wondering. Anyhow: http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/forum/thre…65670132493039/
I'm pretty sad/embarrassed that we can't get it right on each launch but at least shit's getting fixed. Mail just did the rounds that another patch is in the works that will solve more issues. Biggest thing seems to be server instability that's causing a lot of what people like to call "netcode" issues although it's not really related to that at all. That being said, besides that there definitely seems to be something wonky going on with some of the netcode as well. Once the servers are in better shape I suppose they'll look more into that but it's expected a lot of the "netcode" complaints will be resolved with server fixes... As far as I understood. Fyi I don't work on BF4, just reading the mails that go around the office, no idea what I'm talking about

I'm referring to acknowledgement of our specific problem (stuttering in SP and MP even when idling). I think Dice is doing a great job supporting the game. It only worries me that this problem has not officially been listed yet. I should have been more clear.
Thanks for sharing that!

At least you guys can play. I've been trying every single suggestion on the forums and while it has improved a bit, it's still unplayable. Luckily I'm not alone in this and it's not an issue on our end, but still, some form of acknowledgement from Dice would be nice. It's impossible that they don't see the vast about op topics being opened every day complaining about stuttering.

I was a bit disappointed in the first but damn, that's a trailer. I'm pumped again!

It's not my personal crusade against COD. I just so easy to make fun of. I love it. Besides, Battlefield's SP campaign is even worse than COD's so what are we talking about here? It's just that COD has been so milked that the Internet has made a sport of mocking it resulting in a lot of funny shit. Shit I post to hopefully entertain others. Just take it with a bit of salt

Still not playing it though

Edit: And what Puddy said!

Nice

But sadly it doesn't, at least not for me.

Good point. If anyone else is experiencing stutter and CPU/GPU spikes. Please post it here:

i reckon you're having trouble with the cpu throttling? have you checked your cpu and gp usage during play (with cpuid / msi afterburner)? my gf had frame drops every 20 secs on bf3 (which has had ALOT of CPU related issues, like bf4) and it turned out the cpu was throttling. parking the cores fixed it for me (and yes, i've tried out every single solution there was - practically reprogrammed the bios lol).
I thought the whole idea was to unpark the cores?
Anyway guys, check this:

Should I be worried they didn't didn't mention CPU/GPU spikes and extreme stuttering? Still can't play.

G2play really did a number on me and they are refusing to cancel my order. Which means they finally send the keys today. But I already bought them somewhere else (other people were counting on it and I recommended this site). Anyway, if anybody is interested pm me. It's the preorder edition which includes China Uprising. I paid 40 euros for it.
