So, I forced myself to pick this up again since I paid full retail for it. I finished everything except for the Vault of Glass. I have not changed my opinion as expressed in the previous post. The combat is fun, it's visually appealing but it's shallow and repetitive. I shelved it now and I don't see any reason for me to ever start it up again. No DLC for me and Destiny 2, well, that won't be a launch day game for me either. The first game Bungie made that really disappointed me and by far the biggest let down of 2014.

Love the concept but got bored already in the trailer. Let's hope the game proves to be different. But the concept, props for that!

Yea it's a good show. Some events in season 2 are a bit too silly/over the top tho.
Orange is the new Black is another Netflix drama that's pretty good. Or you could go with the classics like Sopranos or The Wire if you haven't seen them.
I'm at S02E09. What did you consider silly/over the top?
QuoteFrancis and Tusk are now at war
Quote from PogoPTry watching that on a 65" 4k TV, it looks absolutely stunning!
Fucking poser! Pics or it didn't happen
Quote from ThrikYeah I got through this series during the last few months, I was highly impressed. Kevin Spacey is one monumental actor, and the show felt claustrophobically dark at times. Can't wait for season three.
Seriously, I've put my heart and soul in that paragraph and all it gets are two likes??? Then Thrik comes in with a "Can't wait for season three" and it's popular. Bunch of ass kissers!!!

It's 02:13 AM. I've just watched 14 episodes straight and I've only booted up my PC to write this. No actually, because I felled compelled to share. I've watched so many series and movies but this has never happened before. This series just swept me away and I had to literally force myself to stop watching. The writing and acting in this show are amazing. It get's a hold of you. You just need to know how deep the rabbit hole goes. A while you can predict some turns and events it still manages to surprise you. It eases you in to a set of rules and then breaks them. It's brutal but yet so eloquent. It's to despise and to admire. It's a journey everyone should experience. I go to bed now filled with adrenalin and with only one thought on my mind: "What's next?".

Fuck they'll have Tyrion Lannister cameo on this as a mini terminator or something because game of thrones is popular and that's what the kids watch these days. Said some guy in a suit in hollywood lighting his cuban cigar with a $100 bill.
So the check list so far for classic films that have been anally raped so hard it took 50 stitches to sow their assholes back up:
Alien
Predator
Terminator
Star Wars
Robocop
Total Recall
A Nightmare on Elm Street
The Thing
Thank fuck Rambo and Rocky were good or I swear I would of choked a bitch.
Sly killed the Expendables already and is working on Rambo 6 and Creed (a spin off in which he plays Rocky who trains Creed his son).
Also, don't forget the things that they are planning to rape:
The Warriors
Point Break
The Crow
Starship Troopers
Highlander
Scarface
Kickboxer
and so on..
Quote from knjHoly FUCK !
This made my day, I just checked (cause that would be stupid as fuck), I thought that the guy (Sam Worthington) who played Marcus Wright (T: Salvation) and the guy (Jai Courtney) who is playing Kyle in this new shit is the same actor - BUT NO LOL, they look very similar to each other

And now I'm looking at Jai Courtney (Kyle in new Terminator) that he played in Jack Reacher, Die hard 5.0 - movies that i Was sure Sam played LOL OMG PFF

Perhaps time to cut down on the Vodka dude

Rights go back to Cameron around 2020 I think
Nope, the rights only return if they don't do anything with it for certain period. Plus, Cameron wants nothing to do with it and rightfully so.
Quote from duxAnyone who thinks this is good and goes to see it deserves to get hit by a train and then a truck and then struck by lightning.
Disgusting trailer for what will be an atrocious film.
Daenerys Targaryen saying "come with me if you want to live?" I'm done. I am so done.
I think I've found the perfect present for next years Christmas

I think you need to really not compare it to the originals, no movie would hold up that way.
Here's a nice breakdown:
If you are so arrogant to set the movie up in such a way that it changes the originals and you even go so far as to remake parts of them in your new one than you can expect to be compared and ultimatily burned for it. Pride comes before the fall!

You know I've got nothing but love for you. You also know we're both huge Arnold fans but don't let that blindside you bro. You can't seriously expect this to be any good? The Terminator franchise is dead. It's mutilated to a point that's unrecognizable anymore. Regardless of the money you pump into it, it's never going to fix everything that's wrong with it thanks to T3,T4 and the series. They tried to solve this by going the prequel route but it's universally agreed that the plot is ludicrous and it really undermines the original 2. Also, don't forget this movie is not made out of love but because they had to make it in order to keep the rights. Arnold's comeback isn't going so well either so he has no choice but to fall back on his legacy but this is not going to help him. In fact, I think it's going to hurt his comeback even more.
Now, as a Arnold fan, I'll be seeing this in the theater and by god I hope that my negativity proves to be unfounded. That I'll be surprised to see a Terminator movie that puts Cameron's originals to shame. But we all know there's a bigger chance that Dux will buy an console. You say there's hate for no reason, but let's summarize:
- Made to keep the rights to the franchise.
- Directed by Alan Taylor who brought us Thor: The Dark World. Which wasn't all that. No other big credits to his name.
- Written by Laeta Kalogridis (Shutter Island and Alexander) and Patrick Lussier (Dracula 2000, Dracula 2/3 and Drive Angry). Do I need to say more?
- Plot: Sarah Connor isn't the innocent she was when Linda Hamilton first sported feathered hair and acid-washed jeans in the role. Nor is she Hamilton's steely zero body-fat warrior in 1991's T2. Rather, the mother of humanity's messiah was orphaned by a Terminator at age 9. Since then, she's been raised by (brace yourself) Schwarzenegger's Terminator—an older T-800 she calls "Pops"—who is programmed to guard rather than to kill. As a result, Sarah is a highly trained antisocial recluse who's great with a sniper rifle but not so skilled at the nuances of human emotion.
- Led by Arnold who, however painful to admit, isn't the ticket selling machine anymore and Jai Courtney, a guy who ruins almost every movie he's in. Sure, Emilia and Jason Clarke, plus J.K. Simmons are a sparkle of hope but that's it.
So in conclusion, name one thing to be really positive about (besides Arnold)!

Sprony Sprony Sprony,
Arnold is in it and as propostrous the plot sounds to most people it is far more original than T3 (which was bad cc of T2 but i enjoyed it anyway) and T4 (which shouldnt've been called terminator movie).
It's made for plenty of wrong reasons but I hope they pull it off. Cameron said what he has seen was good, but that doesnt mean much.
Ok, if it's good I'll send you the Special Edition BR. If it's bad, I'll cry a long with you.
