Wow, the very first game I designed when I worked as a Game Designer at a serious games company was practically like that.
The client was a credit analysis company that needed a game to train the skills of their collaborators in the task of analyzing real documents and deciding whether they were valid. The reason behind the game was that many people tried to get credit using fake info to prove they could cover the expenses. How would the team turn that into something interesting?
Well, I designed a game where the players (real credit analysts) indirectly controlled a detective in a hot pursuit of a counterfeiter. They had a certain time to validate several real documents to be able to progress. Each success would put them closer to their target, while a wrong document validation would make the chase a lot harder.
Think of "Catch me if you can".
They loved it.

Sorry Anselmo, but I think the logo is not readable at all now.
Oh, no problem at all
That's why I like to share things here, the feedback you guys provide are really important to me!I gotta make more concepts of that logo... As the logo isn't my main focus atm, it might take a little long to finish that. Meanwhile, I'll continue implementing other parts while the logo cooks in my head

yeah, I'm playing with some ideas about how to improve the readability.
What was the main issue? I was told that the G wasn't that readable, for example. So I cut some lines to see the results:
(the logo above and two other versions of that)

Agree with Dead Space and Doom~
I wanna add Borderlands.
It was really immersive when I started playing it and an NPC upgraded my character's "vision" so I could see how many bullets I had left. It was so cool that it didn't simply pop up on my screen. It was LOADED! Each new feature got loaded on my HUD before being completely displayed. Simple, diegetic and immersive.

Why does it try to play it straight on the forum? Can I add a link without the integrated player?
Holy fuck! That's fucking brutal! Want.

Just did that "7 min workout". Shit is intense!
7 min workout timer: http://www.7-min.com/
The Scientific 7-Minute Workout: http://well.blogs.nytimes.com/2013/05/09/the…e-workout/?_r=0
I started it this morning and I'll try to do it at least three times a week.

QuoteIn 12 exercises deploying only body weight, a chair and a wall, it fulfills the latest mandates for high-intensity effort, which essentially combines a long run and a visit to the weight room into about seven minutes of steady discomfort — all of it based on science.
QuoteThe exercises should be performed in rapid succession, allowing 30 seconds for each, while, throughout, the intensity hovers at about an 8 on a discomfort scale of 1 to 10, Mr. Jordan says. Those seven minutes should be, in a word, unpleasant. The upside is, after seven minutes, you’re done.

I went to the gym during two "seasons", which were like 6-8 months each. The result was great, but it was insanely boring to be around dumb people who only cared about taking anabolics and other stuff to get huge.
Most of the times, the music was really shit, leaving me the only option of taking my iPod with me. This way I would somewhat avoid social interaction (which sometimes is good), but at least I would listen to my own music and get more energized.
Well, this is what happened on the second and last gym I went. People there weren't that stupid, the music was less bad but... on one of the days I took my iPod with me and stored it in the gym's locker, after my training I noticed that I got fucking stolen!
That's right. Some fucker got into the men's changing room (really easy to do if you are a man/ work there/ is a fucking stealer) and not only unlocked my locker to steal my iPod, but also had the brilliant idea of locking it back after committing the crime. I told the personal trainer and he was surprised. I returned to the changing room and decided to see if the locker's key I was using that day would, for some reason, open other lockers around. Plot twist: it opened at least 3 more.
This was just after I had finished the training and was happy because I was about to get a heavier training routine.
It was in the end of my gym subscription, and having being stolen and the manager not giving a fuck about that, I decided to quit.

In other news:
I've always been curious about Krav Maga and wanted to try that. After Thrik recommending it on another thread, I decided to look it up and see if there was some place nearby where I could practice that. There is!
I plan to go there and see how it tuns out. I've been way sedentary recently. -
This is perfect!
(There are spoilers if you haven't watched till the 4th/ 5th season)

Fez was a PUBLISHED xbox game, how exactly is that classified as indie?
I don't like to classify things, e.g. music: "is it heavy metal? Is it melodic death metal? Death core? Screamo? White metal? (*&#". To me, most types of classifications are useless. What matters is the content and quality.
But talking about whether FEZ was indie, I believe it really was because (AFAIK) no publishers influenced the game design decisions. So that's something independent.

Yeah the S ended up being too Mass Effect-ish
For sure! lol
I did that just when I felt some inspiration for that, but instead of trying more versions right now, I'll let that cooking in my head while I work on what really matters
