Surprising, but I receive almost every day notifications of positions from the alerts i've set on Ubi and EA's job platforms...
Yeah, ask Supercell. "It generates $2.4 million per day".
Yeah, that's an insane amount! But check Puzzle & Dragons too ("daily revenue rate of $4.9 million").
If I had a company that generated this crazy amount of gold per day, I wouldn't have a company anymore. Work for a day/ week, cancel the game the day next (?), share some millions with the team and then go nuts around the world travelling and #yolo'ing.

I might be playing this shit next week. I think my bro bought the game and it's being shipped right now.

Black Mirror (White Bear episode) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2542420/
Really crazy story! Very fucked up, just the way I like it (that's what she said!)
Everything was good besides the terrible acting by everyone but the protagonist and the "villain".
QuoteVictoria wakes with a head-ache and bandaged wrists, pills spilled on the floor. A strange sign is flickering on the television but she can remember nothing. Outside she meets Jem, a young woman who explains that the signal on the television set comes from the White Bear transmitter. It has turned most of the population into voyeurs who do nothing but watch and sometimes film as a deadly elite known as the hunters kill those unaffected by the signal, such as Jem and Victoria. Escaping from a hunter they reach the White Bear transmitter, which they intend to destroy. However the White Bear set-up is not what it first appears and nor is Victoria.

I'll probably play GTA V sometime next year...
i'm probably one of the only people thats just "meh" about it. Haven't played all the way through any GTA yet. i did 100% Mafia and Sleeping Dogs though (for sandbox games). But something about GTA has always just 'meh' to me. Dunno what it is, maybe the hype ruins it for me.
also this is funneh.

I wanted to post this in the WIP IN WIP thread too, because that must attract most views in the forum. But, I guess the Hurg Police would considered that a spam. soooo.......

WIP. You can see the planes. This level has two of them. Some levels will have three. They change everything! Can your mind grasp this insanity? CAN IT??! (lol)

The whole screen functions as a button, so you can "hover" by using the touch screen and push it in to "click". Seems like an interesting idea and should make it easier to port mouse based menus to the touch pad I guess (hover for tooltip, etc.).
Showing the touchscreen on the main screen is also pretty cool, especially when combined with the fact that you can hover instead of just clicking.
It's also all about tactility, although your point is also true and will be great for navigating desktops and RTS games. One of the biggest hurdles with touch screens, pads, etc is a lack of satisfying feedback — it's why games so often feel shitty to play on iPhones and iPads even tough they have 'buttons' on the screen. It might seem silly, but just being able to click a button on the screen will feel so much better — I expect that many games will divide the touch screen into a bunch of big buttons.
Combined with the innovative feedback touch pads, it looks like Valve has been thinking about feedback and tactility more than most hardware manufacturers. Everything I'm seeing and hearing about this thing makes it looks like it's simply going to feel great to use, and more importantly for the first time bridge that huge gap between consoles and PCs that prevents RTS games, shooters, etc from being truly satisfying for those used to a keyboard and mouse.
Thanks for the replies!
I haven't noticed the "hover" thing. So it would be possible to touch the screen without sending an action, right? I think that's a problem in nowadays' smartphones, because as soon as you touch their screen you are already sending an action.
So, in Steam Controller, we'd be able to hover, and click? That's pretty neat.

let's wait for Microsoft to do another 180 turn and change their controller...

"clickable touch screen"? What's new about it?
(sorry if I didn't get the joke ._.)
