also downloaded sickbeard which makes downloading automatic. i'll only need to select which tv shows i like and it will automatically download+unpack/manage them when they're available. i will only have to turn on the TV.
what if tv/hollywood started offering services like this? if they stopped being conservative, naïve idiots for one second and tried to realize the potential in offering a service like this.

been a while since i've read fiction, so it was nice to have some change. kept me interested from the very beginning

playing the darkness 2. it's fun, but the field of view makes it absolutely nauseating. is it that hard to include an option to change it? if you've spent 3-4 years on a game, why not spend a little more time to make sure the game isn't experienced as complete shit because of a stupid thing like FOV?
if not for their players, they should at least do it for themselves.

freemium isn't mutually exclusive with good gameplay/games. games like tiny tower offer absolutely no fun gameplay value. you can only pay to make it less worse, not better.
it works in the same way, and for the same reason, as farmville does.
don't get me wrong. i think these games are ingeniously crafted. it's just that it's not very ...ethical.

also watched 71: step into the fire which was recommended here. loved it.
i've finished my tv series backlog after this... and there's no decent tv series currently airing. recommendations? (some favorites/already watched are breaking bad, deadwood, the wire, boardwalk empire, rome, battlestar galactica and sopranos). no sitcoms please.
might just re-watch the wire .

i got bored with arkham city after only 30 minutes.
i guess i was already sick and tired of batman after playing too much arkham asylum. :neutral:

I like SW:TOR so far, but I'm not considering it nor playing it, as an MMO. When I've finished leveling I'll end my subscription. As far as I'm concerned this is KOTOR 3. This is also the complete opposite of how I usually play MMOs, where I would rush through the tedious leveling so I could get to the "real"/fun part of the game. The only motivation I have to play is to experience the star wars universe/story. The multiplayer is pretty much worthless unless you play exclusively for the story. I just finished a 30-45min dungeon and got 2200 exp for quest complete and perhaps 1000 or so from all the mobs.
