...ill wager that no studio has used the full power of it yet either, ...

Are you for real? There's almost nothing left to squeeze out of the consoles. Sure, you can hack your stuff to make it run but I can't wait until the new consoles are out. Shit is getting super outdated, they're definitely catching their last breath. (I'd argue the PS3 even more so tbh)

I guess Sony did a great job marketing their revolutionary Cell processor back in the day and that notion stuck up to this day...

Great work overall! Really like it, but... it's worth looking into some of these suggestions!

Just bought this at GMG... thanks for the tip, guys! Paid around 300 SEK (retail price in Sweden is 400 SEK).

What's GMG? The webhallen site says it's not released yet

You worked on Singularity? Sweet man, didn't know that!

The logo's in the first layout are way clearer... You just need to glance over it once.

However, I do like it when the project names are written in text (layout 2). It makes everything more streamlined.

Try keeping the same images though? But then it might become a bit too much so perhaps it's just better to stick with what you have... There's nothing wrong with it!

They are entirely the same. What's expected is a clear drive to get better, buckle down and do all the work requested, and follow directions.

All that but: Take initiative as well. At least that's what they value(d) about me. I'm not just a minion you can abuse, I got ideas of my own and can put them to use.

Not to be mistaken for arrogance though, I'll gladly accept any directions. But perhaps that's just part of the "clear drive to get better" part.

I suppose it might be a bit different for jobs other than level design where things are a bit more technical and there's less room for interpretation...

    Just my 2cents, comments?

I wonder if you can still buy a new Nokia 3210 somewhere... There must be some desolate warehouse that has them stockpiled for a nuclear holocaust. Shit doesn't break.

    I want one.

    Thx for the info guys!

Any reason to get a 720x1280 display instead of something like 540 x 960 which is sometimes used on 4" displays? (Wanna keep the screen as small as possible)

Do all apps still work on all resolutions? Convenience issues?

Yeah but this is the EU... I mean, wtf???

I can understand these charges: "illegal information collection" that those plane spotters ended up with when they dropped the more severe charges. But espionage?

This is far from justice. If you're a real spy, well then bad luck... you get what you bargained for. But stuff like this is beyond ridiculous.

Guess it's hard to prove someone is a spy or not though... :/

So I haven't bought a phone in 3-4 years. Mostly because I'm not up to date at all, now this new stuff alienates me and I just stopped caring for a while.

I have no idea what the different lines of HTC mean, Desire... One. Etc, no idea what's the real difference

Everyone's been hyping the Samsung Galaxy S3 and I've got a friend that has one and it looks great but WTF... it's humongous!

I really don't want a gigantic phone in my pocket, I don't think I need that many features but I assume I'd get jealous really fast and end up wishing I had more.

So should I just suck it up and buy a phone the size of half a tablet? Or is there anything else on the market that's great but a tad bit smaller?

    Much appreciated guys!

So would they actually go through with this? I mean... it's obvious that they're no spies so just confiscate the foto's and leave them be.

Does anyone know if there is an easy fast way to turn on/off an extra pc screen? I'd hate having to go into Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display\Screen Resolution every time to setup my projector as an extra screen.

Windows key + P works fast

Unless I didn't understand the concern

If you got more devices hooked up to it then a AVR receiver works excellently!

I just have to press the key for PC and then it duplicates automatically.

I don't understand the fuss? It's just a new interface... right? People have been using their TV's instead of their monitors and playing with controllers for years.

I guess I could do the same since I live in a studio and my desk is right next to my TV. Guess that would enhance my Skyrim experience

Right side looks like Source dust maps to me, I'd go for the less "cartoony" lighting on the left as well. Perhaps a tad less red though.

Can it even be released for free? I mean... it's not some tiny DLC, that's a lot of bandwith right there... No?

I definitely want an easy install so I'm hoping they can get it through greenlight!

Very strange that they didn't pass you 8| I went to the school in Flanders and they were way more lenient. (Assuming you go to one in Wallonia?)

But it wasn't escpecially that art focussed so perhaps because of that... Anyhow, wondering if those teachers are actually competent... A lot of game related teachers in Belgium don't seem to have any industry experience.

A filter is just a filter FFS, sounds like bullshit.

Hey, at least you got an extra year in college to improve your skills! Will definitely work in your favor once you're finished, you can do a lot in 1y!

I kinda miss college, was a very nice environment to nurture one's skills. At least for me

Yea, what da fukk guys not getting HL1 played through? I played it when I was a kid (like I ever got out of that phase anyway) and it was pretty logical and relatively easy game, even though I had some weird russian "copy", but that didn't stop me from having fun and playing the game through. It's like common knowledge to have HL1 played through if you call yourself an FPS-Player, especially for Level Designers HL1 is a must-play.

I was 9 years old at that time and playing the shit out of Spyro the dragon, I didn't have access to a computer until I was 11-12.

Guess it slipped of my radar.

Edit: Now that I think of it, I was playing Syphon Filter and all that so I probably would've understood the game 8| But yeah, no PC.
