Sounds like working in the Gears of War editor. ![]()
Overall looking good. A few areas that looked too dark, and as mentioned before, a few critical objects in need of overlays. I'd have been lost on where to go at a few points in the level.

Quote from Mr. HappyIndeed. Not to mention if you live in the US you don't have a good internet connection, at least it's standard practice here to throttle everything to half or less of what you paid for and then to further throttle it based on what it does. This is probably why they have a contract with ATT: ATT runs alot of the fiber backbone and could "improve" the latency of the service by NOT throttling it
Maybe that's how AT&T does it. Verizon doesn't throttle FiOS bandwidth any lower than the package you purchase. People just don't know the difference between Megabit and Megabyte. ![]()

I love when subpar companies try to lobby against a superior product because they can't be bothered to make their own as good or better.
This would be the equivalent of trying to start a WoW boycott because the MMO you work on is utter crap instead of making your game better than WoW.
I'm so glad that Bethesda continues to grow. The way they do business and treat the studios they acquire makes me have hope in the industry. ![]()
Also, is anyone honestly surprised that idTech 5 is becoming the universal platform for Bethesda/ZeniMax games? ![]()
Two Worlds 2 looked pretty impressive when I saw it at QuakeCon. Might have to check it out.
Shotgun Spartacus is an epic name. ![]()

When I walked out of the theater after watching TDK for the first time, I certainly felt like it was one of the best movies I had ever seen. I personally liked the break from Tim Burton's cornball rendition of Batman.
I was hoping with the simpler interface, it would be less laggy, harkening back to the legacy Xbox dashboard of the days of yore. Sadly, it was just as bloated and unresponsive as the last revamp. You know what else got continuous revamps that didn't improve the product? Star Wars Galaxies.
Quote from HourencesNo official mod support. EULA only mentions it in case someone does manage to modify the game.
Bummer. It lends itself so well to experimental puzzle game play.
I've really been enjoying the hell out of it. Great visuals, killer atmosphere, fun game play, interesting puzzles, and unique combat. First time I've lost track of time playing a game in a very long time.
Quote":2c83bpaq]God of War 3, is... well, one of the most epic game i've seen, and I only played a few minutes.
If the entire game was as good as the first few hours, it would easily be the #1 game of all time.
I think Rock Band 3's mistake was releasing on the same date as so many other highly anticipated games. Their sales will soar over the next few weeks as people start doing Christmas shopping.
Sorry to hear K&L2 didn't do so well and the layoffs were triggered, Mazy. It looked like a pretty bitchin' game. ![]()
I found The Descent and Quarantine to be the scariest two movies I've ever seen.
Purchased, Tweeted, and Facebooked. Throwing in a guerilla marketing post on a gamer forum too. ![]()
Currently downloading through Steam. Reading the EULA hints at mod support? Any truth to that? ![]()
One thing a lot of people miss (myself included) is make sure the monitor has an up and down swivel that you can adjust. I got an old Samsung Syncmaster that's set up for a very specific viewing angle with no up/down swivel (read: not looking up at it) and the brightness has never looked quite right ever since I had to switch to a desk that has it sitting higher than my head.
Quote from SpicyTanukiI like all Biowares games before KOTOR. I really disliked KOTOR. Looking forward to trying Mass Effect eventually though.
Not sure if you'll really like anything Bioware is doing then. Other than changing how combat works, every Bioware game has played exactly the same outside of combat as KOTOR, just with different stories. Not that I'm complaining, because I enjoy the results. ![]()
Quote from MinotauroLooking awesome, great use of the GOW assets!

Quote from atelierzi remember watching a video of this a while ago.or am i imagining things?
Yup! I posted a video of the beta and used the feedback to help improve the map now that I'm back to trying to finish it.
It might be more accurate to label your modular tileset/models/textures as environment art instead of level design.
