When you already own everything on steam, steam has nothing left to offer.

Finally got round to playing this today on the flight home, great stuff, really enjoyed it so far, got to act 2, going to whip this out for the next game night I have and play 4 player.
edit - act 4 now, really enjoying it, act 3 was a little mazy made it a bit hard to navigate but still fun. Have you guys talked with Sony about putting this on ps3/ps4 because this would fit perfectly and be better than 90% of the indie games on there.

Honestly pass. No one is going to care anymore that its QA at removed studio's name than any other studio, (assuming you are going to be applying for dev positions in the future and not staying in QA forever)

If you actually think about this. It's pretty odd. The kickstarter backers took all the risk and own nothing in the company, merely a piece of hardware when its done and these people that come in years later to invest are basically working off the back of that.

Quote from Thrik
I dunno, never say never. I mean it looks great, but not ridiculously and impossibly so. If programmers back in the 80s could accomplish big feats with the technology they had, why not the engine developers of today? It's about time we saw some 'surely not' kind of graphics. Could Crytek finally be knocked off the perch of graphics domination?!
Well, we'll see. Pity we've got to wait so long for this. Q4 2014? Shieeeeet.

It's not the graphics tech that is impressive, its actually quite mundane stuff that unreal and cryengine have done for a few years now. Its the absurd amount of detail in the scene + all the effects + all the "non scripted" things like the car door being pushed.and the car getting shot and having a hundred holes made in it. Those together make me extreme skeptical, especially considering Ubisofts significant downgrades on WatchDogs since its first reveal.

yeah... maybe on a dev PC. It straight up isn't going to look that good on consoles.

better be fucking good, only kickstarted 2 projects and I have already been disappointed by planetary annihilation.
-
I have zero crashes playing it on PC. Zero.

I haven't played witcher 1 and witcher 2 doesn't really continue from 1. It also explains any lore from 1 fairly well.

meh, I still think BC2 had better levels than BF3. I don't care for massive precanned destruction, smaller player driven destruction is much better tbh.

Probably some SC1 custom map where the player didn't base build but had to fight through a terrain complex against zerg, those missions were always some of my favorites, they broke up the whole build giant base, massacre enemy missions.

Super duper excited tbh. Different maps is by far the most interesting thing about this.

tempted to buy it now, but might wait a while and find some people to play with. Terraria was always better played with others.
