We have.... me, Chris and Ats all worked there.

Until we start getting games in UE4 demonstrating it yeah. I imagine once that starts happening pretty much everyone will pass up on Cryengine (they basically already do). This should tell you all you need to know about that:

I would question that.
Which games on commercially available engines look better than Crysis 3/Ryse?
You mean look better or are more technically advanced. Looks are pretty subjective. I think the opening level to Bioshock Infinite opening level looks better than most of the Ryse content. And it's like an old game. Infinite that is. But technically it is no doubt inferior to Crysis 3, for example.
Quite obviously talking tech, not aesthetic which is nothing to do with the engine you pick.

Graphically superior to all other available engines.

Nope, I wouldn't recommend making an indie game in cryengine. Wouldn't even recommend making a regular game unless it is first person.
The tools and pipelines are just terribly out of date. Everything is a struggle.

Thats some nice destruction you got there.

I think his understanding of what people probably mean when they say "viable" is off, for example if I use viable it would purely mean that there is some circumstance where each gun is useful and worth having. I don't think counter strike will ever hit that, the gunplay isn't built that way.

Bioware games/worlds feel quite shallow to me.

600 square meters, daaaaaamn. In the uk that would cost an arm and a leg.

Yeah you can add faces to a brush as long as it isn't concave. So that entire piece can be made from one pieces. There should be some tutorials online for that, try interlopers.net

Looks like those brushes don't quite line up on the grid probably like 0.01 out or something, try remaking it exactly on the grid and use the smoothing groups.

yep yep yep
