I got a good PC, I have a xbox260 controller for it, I have HDMI out...

Now all I need them to do is stop charging 50$ a year to use my own computer and connection as a server and I'm in.

I really just wish that games wouldn't be treated differently.

man the demo was brutal. They should not have deviated from the downtown nightscene of the original duke demo.

So many things are wrong with this. Someone needs to make a Duke classic mod to bring back the original gameplay.

    seems like Demons Souls.

That was my favourite game of this generation so I should probably give this a try. Anyone here who's played both?

Is there a golden age of modding back in the Quake 2 days?I liked it when a mod could just be a cool idea and roll with default assets, rather than a "safe" idea with production values rivalling a commercial game for free.

This is actually the first year I've begun to enter LAN tournaments. Largely because I'm in college. Current League of Legends undefeated Champs

I'm also quite competitive in Street Fighter 4 and MvC3, although I consistently lose in MvC3

There is a huge multiplayer FPS void in my life right now though. All the modern FPS'es just don't hold my attention for very long. I still play Doom online via Doomseeker and try to play quakeworld whenever I can. Maybe I'll give quake live a shot, wish they had quakeworld live though.

Loved Warhawk, I played the hell out of that game. The people who still play it now though are REALLY good and I tend to get my ass kicked often.

Really looking forward to playing this

EDIT: Just watched the video. I like that the planes now double as ground vehicles. That looks a lot more fun. The buildings also look cool. I hope they don't slow down the gameplay though.

In an attempt to get back to video games I dont feel guilty about I bought Red Dead Redemtion

I cant believe it, I actually care about the story in a Rockstar game! So far it's really good. A solid game.

Yeah, they should. PSN trophies actually only sync to the server when you view them - otherwise they're only stored on your local profile. So, next time you connect and perform the sync operation, you're gold.

you guys think the trophys I earned while it will down will sync when PSN comes back?

I had just finally gotten some time to sit down and play a bunch of games when PSN went down. Only game that's really affected is SF4 and MvC3, fighting games against the computer just aint that fun.

figures this happens the day I buy MvC3 :/

Considering other services have given out games for outages far smaller than this I'm feeling that relatively sony owes us a full retail game

Been getting back into Uncharted 2 multiplayer. U2's multiplayer is so surprisingly good, I remember thinking it would be a tack-on. It certainly isn't.

Co-op is really fun too but I don't like how matchmaking doesn't wait for a 3rd player after about 30 seconds.
