Close to the fattest I've ever been when I got back to canada about 6 weeks ago. I have an eliptical here (used to jog a lot with bad footgear and messed up my knees, eliptical is far less painful). I also have a lot of freeweights. Just got a rowing machine but I dont have much experience using it.

I used to work out quite a bit about 5 years ago but that completely fell off.

Anyways I've slowly gone from 15 mins a day and no workout to about 60-90 mins a day at a higher resistance. I've gone from 15's to 30's for most bicep/tricep and similar gains the lighter motor weight exercises.

It's really depressing to see how few pushups I can do these days.

Anyways started at 250, haven't lost much weight but I think I've lost some fat. Sitting at about 247 now.

Also watching martial arts movies on the tablet while doing cardio is awesome. I built a mount to hold it so that I have to watch it with good posture while exercising.

bought rise of the triad, skullgirls and shadowrun

only played skullgirls so far but man is it ever fun. Loving it so far. Also Double is a nutbar character. She's like Shumagorath on acid.

I swear this is the LAST time I buy something on steam this summer.

They're both fine and fairly similar. LUA is small and quite portable if you are implementing it into your engine.

Angelscript and Chaiscript are also good if you like c style syntax.

Getting back into Dota2 and SF4

My Makoto is still not as good as my Chun but it's getting there. Gonna branch into a 3rd character soon. Maybe one of the shotos.

As for Dota2. People are insulting my mother less in the last few days so I think I'm getting better.

Any chance we can do a WIP thread in the 2D section too? I noticed there wasn't one.

Just finished Blood Dragon. Really fun game once you get the upgrade that makes your AR not suck ass.

Moving on to Gunpoint now. Quite a fun game so far.

I dont know if I would say the original ROTT was slower paced. It was a nutbar fast game.

Trick is to play unlocked then quickly tap space whenever you need to get the camera centered on your player. Which is fairly rare.

Writing a music visualizer with a 80's cyberpunk kind of vibe. This is one of the visualizers, it's basically a fps of you flying over infinite terrain. The reason the image is blurry is because when bass hits the camera blurs and shakes.

The beat detector is about 25% done. It's still a little inaccurate. I've had to read a ton on the physics of sound and how humans perceive sound the last few weeks to get a decent algorithm going.

The graphics engine is a from scratch engine done in c++ and OpenGLES2

This time I wait for it to come on to Vita. I would buy part one but I've played it to death already. I've finished the game many times over now.
