    That would be pretty cool actually. I've started writing an article series on what I'm playing every 2 weeks and considered starting a website with a friend but I don't really want to take on developing and maintaining web applications. Mapcore would be a way better way to go about it

    If I were in an interview and the first question was the pathological one then my mind would immediately switch to an ultra defensive mode where I would probably say things I don't mean because I'm panicking and not thinking clearly.


    The article was really bad in that way. If he had worded it "There is a sentiment going around that you've been disingenuous in regards to statements you've made with Godus" would have probably evoked a more rational, less emotional interview.


    Over the years RPS has gone more and more towards a rough, shock-journalism style. They are also too verbose without saying a whole lot. I gave up on reading them about a year ago for those 2 reasons.


    And yeah, there's like no good game sites these days. Makes me really want to start writing about games more

    Anyone else feel like they are kind of ripping off the doom logo?


    At this point I really do have the feeling the team consists of some excellent marketers taking advantage of the current climate of social/political discourse . The timing is too good. It will be interesting to see whether or not this is a financial success.


    Also how crazy is it that RWS is still in business?

    The cheap electrical parts is definitely a widespread issue. Plenty of people I've worked with have had similar experiences. I realize what I'm saying is anecdotal but considering I've had 3 bad devices and know plenty of other people who have had the same problems I'm willing to accept that as enough of a reason to not buy their products in the future. Them charging me for the RMA for a part that broke after one month and was well within the warranty is icing on the cake.


    The one exception is that WoW players I know love the razer mouse with like 20 buttons on the side.

  • Problem with mouse Razer

    I've had 2 deathadders. One was an RMA which they CHARGED me for when the first one died in a month. Apparently Razer really cheap out on some of the electrical parts so a slight charge completely fries the thing.


    I've also had some of their headphones which were also pure crap. I'm not even mad at my cat for chewing through them.


    I tried the logitech g400/g400s and it's like the exact opposite. I love that mouse.


    Razer is like the Monster of computer parts. More expensive and worse quality.

    Just horror movies. Our TV is in the bedroom so it's a little hard to sleep with murder in the background.


    Otherwise she's one of the only ones who enjoys gaming. I knew it was love when I brought out mario kart and just destroyed me. I didn't realize she had 18 years of practice :X

    It's really interesting how many exceptional programmers are also martial artists. I'm thinking specifically John Carmack and Jon Blow. In fact Jon Blow talks about how he found it really helped him.


    Perhaps I need to sign up!

    Apologies I meant chains not links. I meant that all characters have the same basic chain progression patterns. I cant remember the names of the buttons but it was like weak -> slash -> strong slash always works or something to that effect.


    My favorite character right now is the witch with the guitar. I like her funky delayed style where she throws that chippy projectile that allows her to dash in.
