Looks good, but it's unfair towards the PC crowd isn't it? I mean on the PC that 16 player map is going to be played by 40 people, on "hardcore", and it's gonna be TDM. Well at least in 90% of the cases.

Battlefield 2 Update v1.50 is almost here BY: Bazajaytee POSTED: Aug 27, 2009, 02:30AM COMMENTS: 53 (Login Required to Comment)

After nearly a year of development and three public beta tests Battlefield 2 v1.50 is ready for release. The update will be released on Tuesday 1st September at 5pm UK, 6pm Europe. Stay tuned for release announcement in the near future!

As part of Update 1.50 we are glad to announce that not only is Highway Tampa now a required install included in the update but Euro Forces (Great Wall, Taraba Quarry and Operation Smoke Screen) and Armored Fury (Midnight Sun, Operation Harvest and Operation Road Rage) is now FREE for all Battlefield 2 players. Including the brand new map, Operation Blue Pearl this brings EIGHT new maps that everyone can play and will be added to ranked Battlefield 2 servers world wide. The Booster Pack content is included in the update and has made the file just over 2Gb in size.

Server providers around the world will have access to the client file so find your closest host for best download speeds. To install Battlefield 2 Update v1.50 you must have Battlefield 2 updated to version 1.41 or Battlefield 2 Complete Collection from EA Store installed. Thank you to all of the EAUK Forums (http://forums.electronicarts.co.uk/battlefield-2/) members who have given feedback and requests during the development of this update. The full change log for Update 1.50 is as follows:

Actibliz's behavior and the price hike have soured me, especially considering valve released another free content update for a 2 year old game at the same time the hike was announced. Plus all the other good games coming this winter means I won't be getting MW2. Shame one hand because I loved MW's MP and would probably love this one also.

And on that note even BF2 is getting free stuff.

I liked the game. Personally I would have enjoyed it if the story was taken a little further and was better, but most don't play wolf for the story, still imo it would have fitted.

Graphics are nice but could have used more color, to much brown. Personally didn't like the veil that much, I enjoyed the gameplay enhancements but i don't want to be in all green mode when I'm causing destruction.

I wanna see it in color. I enjoyed the scavenge hunt in the hubs but not in the missions since you have to replay them fully if you miss something, not just go back to a specific part. Length of the game was fine imo.

It kind of left me with the same feelings as I had for Prey, it seems like I should have liked it more considering what it offered, but it just didn't fully click with me.

Also I used trainers, because to give me infinite ammo and more money, so could fuck with every weapon when I liked. It made the game better imo, also had a bit of fun with infinite veil.

Does sony allow free dlc on their network, I thought they did. That would make them great for valve.

What about Backwards Compatibility? Anyone know anything about that, or have any clue why sony hasn't succeeded in software emulation like MS, at least partially.

edit: I thought the mockup looked sexy.

I dunno I've always been skeptical about these slim versions. I had both a PSOne and a PS2 Slim and they sucked ballz compared to their predecessors.

    Why?

Also I remember people not liking the PS3 had a big fan, but isn't that good because big slow fans make less noise then small fast ones?

Was there any attempt to sell the studio, like with Free Radical, seems a shame to have such a welfunctioning team disperse.

Apparently Matt Bortolino, at least shacknews says so, and when I google mbortolino I get his name. It's weird and amazing at the same time. Weird because it seems you would need a good deal of knowledge to make this mod alone, and his name doesn't come up on any forum asking question/ or for help. I did find his post on interlopers http://www.interlopers.net/forum/viewto ... 95b0de7b2d
