So what happened to the grin editor, who owns the rights? Do those former grin guys that formed new studios have it?

Any ways sound a lot like autocad snap system.

Al the games looked good especially vanquish. The producer for crysis 2 comes off as a sharp fellow and the game looks more fun then Crysis.

Considering they made Plane Scape Torment, KOTOR II, and Never Winter Nights 2, you know what you can expect.

They could argue the aliens use humanoid containers because our cities and all our stuff was made with humans in mind, and effectively interacting with your environment is key to winning a war.

Looks like a breath of fresh air. FPS games have been stagnating due to trying to mimic reality. I do hope it comes out on the PC.

This picture was taken after US soldiers shot up a car at a checkpoint, either by their mistake or the drivers of the car. Both parents of this girl were killed. And here she is alone covered in the blood of her dead parents, surrounded by soldiers at night in a country like Iraq.

Also about that collateral murder video, you probably know by now as I imagine a lot of you watch the colbert report, but the title is kind of bs, intentionally so to get more views.

It's made by Obsidian, so it will be like all their games before (planescape torment, KOTOR2, NVN2), it will have a great story, fantastic dialog, magnificent characters, and the rest will be so so.

You need to explain or better yet link to a good explanation of what makes alien and aliens so good. Considering the amount of fans there should be a page. The problem with searching for my self is that Alien is a fairly used word today, so it is hard to find.

The game is by no means bad, it's remarkably competent compared to many other games from the eastern block. It owes much of it's fun to the great atmosphere they created and I'm grateful they stuck good high res textures for PC gamers. But the purposefully annoying decision do stick out for me, and the gameplay while fun just never go's in to the territory of brilliant either by adding a twist or doing it so good it makes other games look bad. It's a good game I would say 8 out of 10.

edit: also game would have been better if you could carry all the weapons you wanted. As would many games.

The moment I click on the icon it becomes the game experience. And decisions that purposefully annoy me play a role, since every fucking time I open the game I have to deal them.

Definitely not a brilliant game. It doesn't let you skip the intro's which annoying and insulting. I do not need to be show for the hundredth time nvidia is the way it's meant to be delayed. Also automatically switches to the 360 controller if you have it plugged in, no way to to set Kb and mouse as the default controls. Because you know everyone rather play an FPS with a controller then Mouse ans KB on the PC.
