I don't even have a TV, or a couch, so a PS4 would be a herculean investment. They pretty explicitly said they'd be multiplatform when Kojima Productions first went independent, hate to find out Sony forced them out of that.

The most recent big patch's nerfs to Ana's ult and Lucio's healing, coupled with big offensive buffs to Soldier and Pharah, have made things very rough for healers, especially in Competitive. I swear, people are better at keeping their buddy medic alive in QP, it feels like. I can sleep dart Pro Genjis and Reapers in the face all night long, but there's not a lot I can do against Soldier unless I swap to Zenyatta, and then there's not much I can do against Pharah without Ana. I stick to Ana, because at least people might accidentally shoot the Soldier for me (nobody ever shoots Pharah it seems), but the situation is still fraught with peril and bullshit.

These two things aren't really related. The electors, who, again, only exist to empower SLAVEOWNERS, can vote for whomever they like in most states, but are party affiliated and thus probably won't. Also, the states weren't pulled one way or another by millions of votes, but by thousands. The results ARE within the statistical probability of fuckups tilting the results.

Also Clinton got nearly two million more votes (with still some places not finished counting the absentee ballots). Call this crap what you want, but it isn't democracy, because if it was, NEITHER would count as winners, because the closest thing we have to a vote of no contest in America is abstaining, and abstaining beat them both by a fucking mile:

Anyhow, Hillary's lawyers have apparently endorsed recounts in the 3 states Stein proposed. However, in order to somehow become president she has to pretty much win all the states, which is possible but very very unlikely if you look at the figures. Michigan has already done another recount and Trump's lead narrowed from 13,107 to 10,704 votes ahead, but he still carries the state. In pennsylvania he is currently ahead by 70,000 votes, in Wisconsin it's 22,000 votes. Unless all those votes are somehow invalidated, she still can't win...

If Jill Stein were the type to rip people off, she'd be a Democrat. The states have already confirmed she's paid the filing fees for recounts.

Deus Ex. The ending is a huge interconnected level, and you choose your ending by doing a bunch of tasks spread all over it while the antagonist mocks you, and then protests, and then begs you to stop as you go about your business. Great design and setup.

Mafia 3 also had a great ending. A perfect last level, followed by some great denouement scenes and choices that properly respected your decisions across the course of the game. Basically the complete opposite of Mass Effect 3's ending, which I experienced for the first time a couple months ago. I was so frustrated by how slow and dumb it was being that when I finally got the ability to move and choose an ending, I shot at the ghost-child-avatar thing, and instantly got a bad ending. Reloading took me back over an hour and a half of unskippable bullshit, so I never even bothered trying again for a real ending, because I was so fed up with it.

Got Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. It runs really well, and I remember people complaining about performance when it first came out, so maybe waiting was for the best anyway. It's crashed twice in a few hours for me, though. Also, the lack of an option to put a crosshair dot on the screen is really weird: It's a pretty standard anti-motion sickness feature.

Also the facial animations are atrociously bad, and the game's being infuriatingly vague about what happened between the games, so I still have no idea what ending is canonical or any of that stuff.

Besides all that though, having fun with it.

They haven't even done that. Meanwhile, they assumed everyone who typically votes for them would, which was an incredibly stupid assumption, as seven million people who showed up to vote for Obama in the last two elections stayed home this year, and we had the lowest overall voter turnout in 20 years. Trump got basically the same number of votes as Mitt Romney did in 2012. The Clinton campaign just completely lost their base, chasing after shitty suburban white people. And now, a bunch of assholes are in the media claiming the loss was because poor white people are racist and hate gay and trans people. That might be true, but also poor white people (just like everyone of every group below median income in the US) still voted more for Clinton anyway. It was middle class suburban white people who voted for Trump, in the right places to give him the lion's share of the "electoral votes" of this stupid system set up originally to let slave owners vote on behalf of their slaves (seriously).

Also, our voting machines are extremely vulnerable. It's been proven for over a decade people could just hack our elections, from multiple researchers, and we haven't done anything about it, because anyone who suggests the possibility is shouted down as a wackjob. Paper ballots would mean cable news couldn't have election night results, because counting would take longer! Buying new machines would cost money! Our media narrative, just like our system, is fucking stupid at every level.

While Trump is a terrible existential threat to almost everyone I know (literally, not figuratively like for rich assholes writing op-eds in the New York Times, we're actually dependent on things like government health care and the cops preventing instead of encouraging pogroms), I kinda would rather he not have this yanked out from under him. The public reaction amongst his supporters (<20% of the country, but enough to fuck shit up) would be extremely violent, and for the rest of the people the relief at avoiding Trump would make them less likely to fight Clinton than if she'd just won outright in the first place.

"illegal immigrants" aren't "sent" by anybody and they come because the economy of rural Mexico has been completely decimated by NAFTA: As American factory jobs move to Mexico City (briefly before shutting down again and moving to Asia), heavily subsidized American farms are impossible to compete with without import fees, and so farms all across Mexico have gone bankrupt and gotten foreclosed on, and the farmers and their hands are all unemployed, starving (since they've lost their farms and income and can't afford the cheap-for-the-city but expensive-if-you're-broke American food), and thus forced to go north and work for those American farms that put them out of business. That's what "illegal immigration" is: The movement of people responding to the free movement of capital putting them out of work.

Or at least, that's one side of it. The other side is people, mostly children, fleeing gang and drug violence in places like Columbia and Guatemala, drugs grown to be sold in America (and they're smuggled in by plane and boat, not border crossings, btw), and gangs funded by America to fight left-wing governments.

The US has completely fucked up all of North and South America, especially South America. That's not the fault of anybody outside the rich assholes who control what the US does. Even the shitty government of Brazil can be traced back to the pre Civil War US going to war to prop up the Brazil's slaveowner class, as defending "New World" slavery was our primary foreign policy of the time.

We're a bad country, and Trump's part of that, despite claiming he's gonna fix that by blaming people who had nothing to do with it.

I find the 1v1 really frustrating, because of my hero preferences and because kinda dumb random matchups like D.Va vs D.Va, where the first mech to blow up tends to lead to that hero winning. 3v3 is pretty fun, though. I don't think either have lasting appeal compared to full games though, especially with the single map.

They pushed out the PTR patch and Sombra to the main game a couple days ago, with its changes basically identical to the PTR, despite saying they wanted a longer test period with faster adjustments. I don't blame them, though: Anecdotally, based on matchmaking and queue times, I don't think many people played the PTR, especially outside the first couple days and the bump for Sombra, so they wouldn't have nearly enough player feedback to do otherwise. Still, the patch is pretty okay, except Sombra's ability to lock down health kits is kinda OP, while the rest of her kit is kinda meh (mostly because people can't play her). Soldier might be a bit overpowered, seeming him 2:1 vs McCree picks this week. Zarya doesn't seem to be hurt by her nerfs, in the eyes of the people who play her, though.

You are talking out of your ass, and are wrong. Voting nation-wide requires registration, which requires identification and a stable address under your name or family. This system does not let non-citizens register, while throwing out vast swaths of babies with the bathwater by preventing anybody transient, homeless, without proper papers, or without their name on a lease, mortgage, or utility. In the vast majority of states (iirc only two are exceptions), the system also blocks anybody currently in prison, and in many anybody who's ever been in prison is prevented from voting for the rest of their lives.

America prevents millions of its citizens from voting under the specter of people who live here without documentation daring to get a voice in how their adoptive communities are run, and prevents tens of millions more from voting by making it very, very difficult to do if you're poor. Thousands of people lost their jobs last Tuesday because they were denied time off during the 8 AM to 9 PM window on a single day once every four years we're given to vote, and went anyway. When you actually look at the numbers, barely 25% of eligible voters, or 18% of all American adults, actually voted for Donald Trump. The rest voted against him, or couldn't participate in our stupid fucked up antidemocratic system.

Also Donald Trump barely got any more votes than Mitt Romney did in 2012. Instead, about six million fewer ballots were cast for Clinton than Obama, a consequence of the weakened VRA (which allows local Republican parties to change rules to prevent black people from being able to vote without any oversight or veto process), and the abandonment of poor people in this country by the Democratic Party, who's so out of touch they said shit like "America is Already Great" and "A vote for a third party is a vote for Trump", assuming mandatory support from the poor.

Also in the last week over 2000 more people joined the already largest Socialist organization in the US, the Democratic Socialists of America (which is not a party, but an independent organization that pushes specific candidates, regardless of party, in primaries and local elections), so I'm actually feeling pretty optimistic. over 50% of young Americans even say they'd be willing to vote for a Communist.
