Is also free on PS4 this month
You're obviously affiliated with them in some way, this is either a desperate plug or some sort of scam. Your name is even in the link
blackdog Fat at is actually something you want to be eating and your body needs, you just need to be eating the right kinds (nuts, eggs, coconut oil etc). Basically a good rule of thumb is to avoid anything processed and eat natural instead. So a block of cheese is ok, but a cheese string is not....fresh meat is good, but packet ham is not, etc. Anything that looks like it was made in a factory, just avoid it. And get rid of any of the sugary stuff too like cakes, trifles, biscuits etc, natural sugar in things like bananas are ok though.
You can also pick foods that help with controlling hunger levels, to reduce the amount you'll want to pick up the sweet stuff. Eggs are good for this, I have them in the morning (4 or 5, half with yolk half without) with a slice of brown toast and some spinach - this keeps me feeling full enough until lunchtime. Vegetables can also help with this as they contain fibre, so pack a lot of greens into your lunch along with some protein. Then have some meat, more veg and some carbs in the evening and you'll be sorted. If you feel like snacking at any time, have a bag of nuts handy, I just snack on almonds and pistachios all day
Carb wise I've learnt that again processed stuff is bad, and that normally includes pasta. Brown rice is ok but best to not get the pre-cooked stuff. Sweet potatoes are better than the normal ones. Sauces normally contain sugars so avoid those, if I want to make a chicken and veg dish a bit more interesting I just mix it with tinned, pulped tomatoes and cook the chicken with some herbs and spices.
I'm definitely no expert on this by the way, but pretty sure the above is accurate ![]()
Finished this game over the weekend finally, after completing every mission, side mission (except Gwent stuff), contract and treasure hunt, didn't explore every location though but found that the only things I left undiscovered were monster nests or abandoned villages, or extra treasure that I didn't need. Awesome game, and I'm glad I tried it even though I couldn't get into the first two. I found the story easy to follow and the characters were introduced well for a newcomer. Negatives would be the bugginess of the game in general, particularly when it came to missions - I had 3 side quests left in my inventory at the end which were complete but hadn't been accepted as being completed. I also got the Wolf Gear DLC and collected all the diagrams but the game 'lost' my 4th diagram somewhere so in the end I couldn't even build it. I also couldn't tell how long I played it for as that screen was broken, but I would think I probably put around 80 or 90 hours into it in total. These things didn't spoil the overall experience though, the world was one of the best realised ones I've ever played around in and the narrative was consistently engaging. Looking forward to seeing what CDPR come up with next ![]()
I followed a no carb diet for the last couple of weeks and lost 5kg, though to be fair losing weight is not something I need to be doing, my problem is putting the weight on. I can do it, but it all goes to the wrong places, hence the diet to try to trim a bit of that fat away. Anyway, been super lazy with the gym since we lost our membership in the Crytek fiasco last summer..we got a membership to a new gym with Deep Silver but it's not as good as the Virgin Active one we were going to, so I haven't been going. Motivation to actually go after a long day at work is my problem, so to solve that I've been gathering the pieces for my own home gym. I now have dumbells, a bench, an exercise bike, pull-up bar, ab roller, swiss ball and ground mat. Might get some kettlebells too. That should be all I need to try to add some muscle and I will use it all a lot more often as it's at home. Will also be focusing a lot on bodyweight exercises to try to shift fat. Am off the no carb diet now, onto a low carb one (piece of brown toast, one banana and one sweet potato every day) in amongst a lot of meat, veg and eggs for protein. No sweets and biscuits or anything like that but then I haven't been eating that kind of stuff for years, save for the odd occasion. Can't say I've noticed a drastic increase in my energy levels since I reintroduced the carbs, but then I feel like I've been tired for 3 months since I gave up coffee ![]()

That had literally nothing to do with Adam Lallana
Especially if it's better than Jurassic World!
I agree its the best since the first, but then it was just 'ok' overall, not great but not terrible either. I've seen the first recently enough to remember what kind of film it is, but still this film is played way too much for laughs and is devoid of tension throughout. There's nothing to match the T-Rex assault on the jeep or the raptor scene in the kitchen, only poor attempts to mimic them. The kids in this film go from being scared of the dinosaurs one minute to making jokes the next but in the original they were terrified throughout. In fact the whole thing about talking to the dinosaurs means that it seems no one is that scared of them anymore. Case in point was
Quotethe bit at the end after all the dinosaurs had finished fighting (which was also a bit pants) where the gang came out and just stood in the middle of the park gazing at the centre. There's a T-Rex on the loose still guys!
Also the characters in general weren't that likeable and I couldn't emphasise with the kids, despite the strangely forced attempt to get them to talk about their parents divorce out of nowhere. I am being a bit harsh on it I suppose, I can see what they tried to do but it just didn't work for me. I'm also not 10 years old anymore so I suppose nothing is ever going to come close to the experience of watching the original and seeing dinosaurs roaming free for the first time on screen. I think they've made a good summer blockbuster for the younger generation of today, I'll give them that ![]()
Pretty disappointed by this one, the original is one of my favourite ever films so after seeing the positive reviews and everyone saying how good this is I was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately it's pretty damn cheesy and it's as if they tried to make it a comedy. I should have seen the warning signs in the trailers, especially once they announced Chris Pratt starring in it. Not one part of it was remotely scary, but I think that's just down to dinosaur fatigue now. They should have just stopped after the first film :\
Yeah, though there's a good chance another network will pick it up. Some are saying it may be legal-rights related though, as they wanted to include Clarice Sterling in Season 4. Season 3 will still finish as it's all been filmed.
Hannibal got cancelled
shame, a really cool show, though I have to admit season 3 isn't the strongest so far
Quote from (HP)I'm waiting for the first or second day the game is out to order it, just to boycott that pre-order bullocks.
I can't believe how ridiculous pre-order bonuses are getting, I mean, how the hell are they going to get bullocks to fit into the Batman universe?

I don't even know if you can call this a downgrade. The original E3 demo was more of a proof of concept. It's what they would have liked the final game to look like at the time, but it was made early in development. After E3 they got to work trying to create the game and match it to that concept trailer but obviously then came across the limitations of mapping that sort of detail across a whole, functioning game. This whole downgrade debate has come from them releasing that trailer at E3 and not explaining what it actually was, effectively trying to con people (deliberately or not) into thinking that it was real in-game footage when it was more of a glorified tech demo.
Quote from SenturaI think I'd be worried more about gameplay getting stale if the trailer represents everything you can and will do in the game. But hey, at least I can get the feeling of playing the full game by watching the trailer on repeat for 8 hours. Score!
To be fair the gameplay in the original Doom games was quite repetitive too, the continued interest came from the level design, weapons and enemies. They seem to be bringing back some of the old school elements for this one, though we'll have to see if they incorporate any of the labyrinth style level design. I'm not sure they will though, this day and age levels where you can actually get lost are normally considered a bad thing, even if deliberate.
I actually think this looks alright, looks like an action packed, gory shooter. Doesn't really bother me how well it ties into the original Doom, as long as it's fun in it's own right. The one thing that bothered me is the enemies highlighting as you shoot them, I guess this was done to show that they are ready to be melee'd though. There is a big emphasis on melee'ing too, hopefully they have loads of different animation variants so it doesn't become too stale, saw a couple repeat in that demo alone.
