Awesome review Rick_D! ![]()
Seems to be a shitty game.. not buying. Not that I would play these kind of games anyway. I like my games played, not watched.

I just re-registered, e-mail I used is: omg91 [at] hotmail [dot] com, feel free to add me.
I installed those Quake Live plug-ins few months ago, but never got around actually playing it. I had account since.. I dunno, year or two ago made and due inactivity, I think they threw it to trashcan so I have to make new one. Also, premium stuff is out of question for me. I'm also playing more TF2 these days, haven't got that proper Quake III Arena itch back I had when I was a kid about 9-10 years ago.
Quote from Rick_Dchinatown is a great level, there's lots of nice little details hiding around. only problem is there's fuck all servers and my friend and i couldn't connect to each other
I heard Valve messed up something from their side. Not sure, but this thread could help ya out a little: http://www.nomoreroominhell.com/forums/ ... =8120&st=0
I think I know something about this mod.. ![]()
Anyway, we just got new media update, something about our next patch (1.05):
Funny, I got a call from Rovio today about interview possibility. Too bad I have so much school to do from September 2012 to May 2013, it would've conflicted with full-time job, so it was no for me.
Well, hugely awesome thing is, at least I was considered and asked for an interview. ![]()
Why I have a feel, that you can buy the expansions 2 weeks in advance, you don't automatically get them if you're in that premium-club bullshit thing.
My luck this post will be last on this page and gets buried.. oh well, happens I guess.
Here's a map-project I was working first when I started working at No More Room In Hell team in 2009 (the new team with new start). This map was/is actually "fully playable" despite few gamemode specific entities, but I didn't think it was up to quality, so I kind of dumped it. I might raise it from the dead by remaking it, as it had nice gameplay and tons of various areas to go and survive zombies in. Map's name is "Quarantine", which makes sense more if you played the map, as the area is restricted from elsewhere with fences and walls with spotlights to point to playable area, like it was being watched. Enough blabber, here are few screenshots:

Quote from kanine01I know this is really just a bump, but does anyone know of some really good colleges where I can learn more about level design and game dev in general? Preferably on the East Coast of the U.S.
Yeah, good one is called "Self Taught" college, which is located everywhere. Another one is "Just Keep Practicing", it's quite time consuming, but usually results are good. When you're good enough, get your papers in "Mod Team" or "Indie Team" colleges and work.. erh, study there, improving your skills and learning new ways to develop stuff.
Also, if you want to really to go real school/college, you should at least tell where you're from, unless you can afford traveling/moving to new country.
Hey, that looks quite nice so far.. reminds me alot of Legend of Grimrock though (like a copy, but with different looks. It looks like you just swapped the default tilesets there with your sci-fi ones. Nonetheless, looking good really and STFU about it not being awesome, it is already. Keep up the good work!
Amazing! This is like best reason to actually try the new editor and make something with it. ![]()
I wish this was on PC. I couldn't be arsed to buy some shitty "XboxLive-points" and then wasting my already tight 4gb space on the game.
Been following this for a while. It looks like really nice mod. I didn't like AoM, because it had those zombies so weirdly ultra speed and twitching, it was just weird and not cool in my opinion. Can't wait for the release!
I wish this one would have modding support, but these days.. it's a VERY rare gem. Max Payne 1/2 were awesome and had awesome mods to go with. With new weapons and features from Matrix movies, it was always so cool to replay those games.

Quote from Ginger LordAnyone else come in here for news on They Hunger and were dissapointed?
Totally man! I thought there was just typo in thread title. Oh well..
Also, if comparing book to Twilight.. even saying it's not anything like it, kind makes it sound the book actually shares something with Twilight series, which is way out of my interests on books (just an on-topic discussion).
I enjoyed The Binding of Isaac alot! It's really nice and "cute" game.. but still gross, sad and dark in a way, which I like. I'm playing it almost weekly at least for one playthrough. Now I gotta catch my progress, because when I reinstalled Windows few days ago, I lost all my items (I had like about 20 missing).
As for the boxed retail.. I might actually buy it, because I like having a nice game collection some day.
I did this survey too, it was okay.
Points mentioned earlier were bit vague.
Alright, I applied to join in the "mapcore platoon". I'm by the name "SP-0n3".
