Or Take Two wanted the IP rights, and 3DR takes a complete stance on holding on to IP. They even let developers they publish keep IP rights if they want to.

Oh for god's sake there hasn't even been a statement yet. It's pure conjecture. All I've heard from former employees, Remedy etc. was that 3DR was a fantastic company to work for and George was a great guy. Bryan even said that if 3DR came back in the next 2 years he'd drop everything and run back.

Thus far it sounds like nobody screwed up, just Take 2 screwing them on funding.
