Got Blood Dragon, but didn't really like it, it's a mess visually and is just trying to hard to tick of all the retro checkboxes. Also got Call of Juarez Gunslinger, pretty linear and no gameplay variety, but it is fun for what it is. Has a really solid presentation and pretty environments. Hoping for a new western game from Techland soon

They probably want to attract a wider and newer audience that never played a mgs game before, which would find Hayters voice acting super cheesy and not really up to par, it's mostly nostalgia and us so used to him voice acting snake that still make us want him to continue. It's kind of a dick move to us loyal fans, but at the same time i understand why they are changing things up a bit. To be fair, Sutherland is a pretty solid choice if anyone were to replace Hayter

I guess they only had time to optimize on the consoles, then they took all the ps4 settings back to PC. Safe and most likely much more stable.

got a PS4, dunno what to do with it, don't even have a proper TV for it, and I realized console games are crazy expensive

They were only like 5-6 people when they started working on the stand alone version, so it would make no sense for them then, to be doing what they are doing now. They've been on the top selling list on steam for almost 9 months now, which has given them a lot more resources to ramp up production. It will take longer, but improve the quality of the end product.
