It's more that a sudden drop of 25% of your total frame rate will often give you a slight micro stutter or inconsistent input delay rather than a percieved laggy fps

They're moving because of the weather surely.

So now we get the new doom, unreal tournament, cliffyb's new game, this and probably more. I guess they all figured that the people who grew up with those games have a lot of buying power these days. Ripe for nostalgsploitation.

Beta runs super smooth on my 4 year old box, shouldn't be a problem

Never liked the teleportation mechanics or limiting games to a small area with VR, so this is a way to solve that. Too bad you have to sacrifice one of the controllers for it, but I guess you will be able to attach a dedicated device for this in the future Anyway, letting the first generation solve its infant problems for now
