Looks amazing! I'll have to give it a try, seems like so many useful tools in there.

"...or place lanterns that last forever."

Nice to see some new updates coming. I kinda of wish there were some objectives/quests though. Some sort of tower defence thing would be nice, with the mobs actively attacking and having to set traps.

The lighting could probably be a bit brighter overall, with more bouncing into the dark corners. It feels a bit industrial and oppresive for an apartment complex, even if it is sci-fi.
Also: It's looking great

-
Haha me too
I was half expecting it to say "I'm old Gregg!"The game's looking great though, and I can't wait for insta to release a custom map for it

Oh, one thing that annoyed me was that the music chopped off quite hard when you went through the trigger to turn it off. Perhaps you could have it fade out over a couple seconds? And there's no glass on the outside window by the gas station, on the room with the valve.
-
Cool stuff! I got stuck right at the beginning because I forgot you need to hold down use rather than tapping it on valves.... Perhaps because I've played Bioshock recently. Can't wait for the next one!
-
Why didn't you tell me this was close to releasing?!?! I'm going to play it at lunch.

If not grime then at least a bit of variation, mostly in the specular if you're wanting to keep it clean.

Congrats!
I was there for an interview last October, but it only took about 3 hours. The studio itself seemed like a really nice place, but I could never see myself living in Nottingham, I didn't like the city at all

-
Are you working on it in Norway?? I tried it with bots, and the only thing I found a bit annoying was not being able to shoot through the fences.

Actually the website is http://www.dice.se you get some IT job search thing

Update: I'm starting at Dice on Monday.

Cool stuff! I really want to go to Nepal. We'll have to go on some sort of trip when you're back
Do you do some sort of denoising? We have the same camera, but I'm always annoyed by how much noise I get. -
You can add me into the freelancer section, as an environment artist.

I upgraded to the iPhone license and bought an iPod touch. It didn't take too long to get everything set up, and now I've got some simple tests running
It sucks that the editor for the iphone version isn't updated to the 2.6 editor though. -
!!!! I just bought the Indie license last week! I've got to decide to take the discount on the pro or iphone version now, although I'm leaning towards the iphone, as the features you get from the Pro aren't really what I'd be focusing on for development with Unity I don't think, getting shadows and a few other things doesn't seem to be worth the cost.

Deferred rendering, with screen space AO.

I just finished it recently as well. It was really enjoyable, great atmosphere, puzzles, and music. I also really like how everything is done with visuals and sounds rather than words. I'd definitely recommend it.

I really miss the way you could place modular units in it. Building a level from a couple of assets took no time at all. Placing units in Unreal feels so awkward now.
