Really sad to hear that, he was a great actor... First time when I was a kid I saw him playing Koopa in Super Mario Bros... Ahhh it is time to see how our idols from early years are dying...

I made a little tutorial, hope it helps:

As for the various textures on the same mesh I'm just using a multi/sub-object material with all my textures.
When talking about precision you have to tell about Snap tool, snap to vertex and so on. When creating modular "puzzle" elements it's really important to keep the measures in proper values...

Got my copy already. I'll post some movies today. :>

I spent two years on scripting and that was fun as hell! I was scripting few levels for Call of Juarez Bound in Blood with our own script system based on actions, behaviors, conditions and so on. Very easy and powerful. I've seen a lot of maps from community that was stunning just because creating something fresh on our logic system.

Looks nice but I'm afraid that gameplay will suck hard

Didn't I posted this link already?

You've put a lot of hard work to make the flash version but seriously a lot of people don't like flash sites. Loading time is way to long and I don't like the colors - the contrast is too low - the white elements after the loading are nice. There are a lot of stuff there but it have a weird categories. You have titles of levels and "Modelling" where titles of models are. Maybe create a category "Levels" or "Level Design" / "Modeling" or "3D Models and Animation" and so on...

But I like desaturation

EDIT:
No, really, all my latest levels are desaturated a bit (about 30%). If the "normal saturation" is good now I won't sleep tonight and tomorrow at work I'll change all the color curves
Doh, I'm out of trends, what whould I do without mapcore

It's a desert, it's hot! Now it's perfect for me. If I could change something I would add more red, maybe desaturate yellow/brown - now it's a bit circus-saturated... Also some of the details are a bit too dark. And where the fu*k are creates!? That's just my thoughts...

OMG nice, can't wait to see that textured. As a railroad fan I can find some annoying construction bugs but it doesn't matter in TF2 - that's not a realistic style game... Few days ago I was at the steam train depot. If you need some hi-res photo ref, just PM me

Wait... It's already textured?
Maybe the light will take some depth from the walls

I'm on "Outpost" level (right after
Quote"Child" escort on back
level). I don't have any filters to gas mask... Doh, pure block...

My interviews was about 30-60 minutes long and that was only talking about stuff in resume. After the interview, in the same day I was working just like an ordinary employee. My first thought: "Damn, that was fast..." I don't know if it's typical to get employee right onto the job after interview? In Poland it might be tipical, when I was hired there was lack of level designers with portfolios...

I see in the whole this topic that you like to hear only good critics. As I already wrote I was trying to show you some new technique that might give you a boost in photography. Getting such an responce from you with no respect and understanding gives me feedback that you understood nothing so it's only my waste of time. I know it's good to be in one shit all the time, it's easy and gives acceptable resoults but don't get drown in this. You know, many people didn't know how to get the essence from the critics. Sometimes maybe it have to be more simple, on his level of adulthood. So... "Maybe try something different and more readable?"

Technically these photos are very good but they aren't telling any story. Some of them are like pimped facebook photos. Think about the usage of background and the crop of the scene. For example: the lady on the road with her bra outside. There's not enough information on the photo and it makes it more commercial, it looks like and advertisement photo of jacket. What she is doing there? Why she's exactly in the middle of the road? Why she's covering the line of road? Why there's so much space on the sides? Her body is curved but her face didn't show any emotions. It's like it's like runing on fun speed while sleeping. Photo with the guy and the bag is much better, technically not perfect but the crop is made almost perfect. He's looking on something on the right and the crop is a bit moved to right. This makes photo a bit more open and warm. The negation of this (when guy looking on right will be placed in the right side of the photo) will cause closing of the crop and makes photo a bit colder. It's because observer's eye is running through the objects that are on sight line of the model. when there's no objects, the eye is looking for contrasts, edges, light spots or any other detail. It makes watching photos a bit confusing. Placing the model in the center is the simpliest way to get observer's eye attention but it's cheapest.Try to show more scene on the photoes. Imagine that the key on the photo posted below is a model and he's looking on the front or on the left of the cropped scene. I hope you understand what I mean. Of course you don't need to agree, it's only the technique of steps of eye observation.

I don't think so, a lot of players don't know about that moves in companies so the "Call of Duty" brand fanboys won't see the possible difference in quality of new IW's games.

The plane was built in '90 and modernised but it's still old construction. In the Polisj TV news some experts said that Tu-154M (that plane) is really hard do steer and it feels like a rock when steering. It also couldn't get high throttle to accelerate on low heights.
As some Polish politicians said that policitcs are the background and we should think about the victums as people, not as politicians...
It's really hard to understand that. I'm still thinking that this is a stupid dream or someone survived the crash...

Yeah, war only makes it worse, in our days nobody want to talk, it's better to kill the opponents instead of ask them what they want...
