Damn! You guys are all over! Hellraid, CoJ and this? How many are you over there?

    Looks cool!

COJ4 team was like 30-40 guys, Hellraid team is 10 right now, DL is much bigger, mostly guys from DI and DI:Riptide.

I'm starting to like soft lighting from Soure Engine but the interiors look the same bright as the outdoors. I know it's multiplayer and visibility is very important but a bit darker indoors would be awesome. Would be?

Still it's amazing job, good luck with the release!

    EDIT:

Oh, and the plants under the ceiling are a bit "no way" to me. If there's such a big plant there should be more light/hole to provide water/ground somewhere there. See:

Somehow reminds me more like Hitman-like game than Shadow Warrior. It's completely different mood but as someone here already mentioned - when I was playing SW I was wery young, now I prefer more mature games and first thing that reminds me that foolish nostalgia is DNF... Still I'll keep my fingers crossed, this might turn into something nice just because removing childish style from original SW. We'll see...

Shooting FX looks way to slow and no bad-ass at all and I wish to see some fog of war/DOF effect to cut the far corridors. Anyway I really like the environments, it reminds me Gorky 17 and Incubation - great memories and games! I hope to see more env types/skins. Good luck!

Really cool article, only read it halfway through though, gonna finish it at home.

Anyhow, has anybody used Creation Kit? They're talking about efficiency, workflows and all that stuff to make the magic happen in a reasonable amount of time. But from some experiments I did when investigating the tools I see a TON of ways to increase efficiency .. The camera controls are really bad imo and hold you back the most. It's sort of a pain in the ass if you're used to (dare I say it) better tools, it's not mere preferences here there's just features lacking.

    - No WASD camera control (FPS-style "walking" through the scene)

    - Scrolling on mouse to zoom in is a pain in the ass, slow as fuck. (Without a way to quickly increase sensitivity without going into the menu?)

    - Can't orbit camera around itself, always requires an object to focus on.

    - CTRL+F to switch to an object is, while nice, slow.

    - Can't change snapping grid increments on the fly with shortcut, requires menu.

If any of you know how to do these that would be awesome Other than that I'll just have to get used to it, I doubt it can ever be as fast though.

Yep, working with CC is a pain in the ass. They need to start working on tools to chase the world
