Yeah it was really uncomfortable to watch. My eyes couldn't focus on anything because it kept on fading to black and then flashing images into my retinas. Also, it has that dubby, horn sound that everybody always moans about in film trailers

Well I can't really say too much but the projects became extremely stale and boring, and I wasn't being pushed as much as I'd have liked. I want to really push my skills and get better at what I do. That's pretty much the reason everyone else left; to move on to bigger and better things.

It's scary, I'm gonna be working as a full-time sub-contractor for UWE, so I'll be self-employed. But it's really exciting! Can't wait to get started.

So, I guess this is pretty official now.

I handed in my notice at Frontier Developments today, and as of next month, I will be working for Unknown Worlds Entertainment on Natural Selection 2.

I am so excited about this, it's been a dream of mine since I was 15 to work on Natural Selection in one way or another! To the future

By the way, for anybody struggling with getting a decent FPS in the game, you should try the latest build out on Steam. I jumped from ~20fps on average, up to like 50-60! Makes the game so much more fun to play.

Looks very similar to The Last Of Us! Obviously they've both been in production for some time and it's just a coincidence, but it'll be interesting to see which is 'better'. Obviously Crysis 3 trumps everything in terms of graphics, but I wonder what the gameplay will be like.
