With such a volatile industry, there is no way I'm gonna be buying a house any time soon. I don't mind renting for the time being until I want to settle down, but I definitely don't want to do that in my 20s. If I buy a house, I'm tied down to that place for a long time, and I want to keep my options open.

Wales is definitely not the place for games, it's awesome that you've managed to keep up your contract at UWE for so long but I wonder how much longer they're gonna need LDs for? SN seems to be going the way of procedural generation, so I'd keep an eye out on that front dude.

I wish damage didn't scale so damn high though. I'm hitting for 100k atm, and it just feels a bit ridiculous. It'd be nicer if hitting for like 1k or even 10k felt really good. Bring it all back in a bit.

Messin' around with Cryengine. Trying to do some FX work, never really done much before. This is so hacky! Faking the atmospheric haze with 2 different coloured fog volumes. I'd quite like to be able to adjust the night sky settings to get a better star skybox going on, but I have no idea how in Cryengine!

Has scrolling UVs for the planet rotation, and also a separate layer for the clouds. This has been a fun little test!

They haven't seen any damage? Are they kidding? I guess they're talking from a sales point of view, but still.. The Battlefield 4 brand has definitely been damaged. I have always been a fan of the BF series, but I haven't played Battlefield 4 because of all the bad things I've been hearing, and a lot of my friends feel the same way. The brand has definitely been damaged, and they need to rectify this for BF5 and probably the next Battlefront game too.
