Of course I can see that, I just think that Two Face has a very cool character/personality for a villain as well. Though he wouldn't have been very good as a main villain against Batman.

First one's nice but the second one seems to lack any real focus.

By that same argument Sentura, what does the Joker have...? He had no sinister plan to take over the world, and he also cares about nothing. I thought the idea of Two Face could have been developed a lot more, he was such a cool character.

I'm sure the Wii could handle a few extra polys on the ear, Hessi

I was never really a big fan of Wallace and Gromit...

I wouldn't be surprised that you bought that Nexus. And when I say 'bought' I mean 'stole and pimped'.

Saw it today, simply brilliant film. The Joker was brilliant, Heath really played the role perfectly in my opinion. Two-Face was also quite impressive,
Yeah same here... They really could have developed his character a lot more.
Looking back, I think they tried to cram too much in to this film, and as a result it seems very rushed towards the end. I sort of wish they'd have kept Two-face as a villain for the third Batman film in this series, he was so damn creepy to look at... It would have been nice to see his character develop in to a sort of crazy, 'fallen knight'-type character, hell bent on malicious revenge. He was like that in this film, but it would have been nice to have seen that motif developed more.
The Joker, however, was perfect. I loved Heath Ledger's portrayal, it was really refreshing to watch. I think the dark humour was perfect; I was worried they would try too hard to make the Joker funny, and as a result, he would be a little unbelievable, but they didn't.
Go go third Batman film!

I can't wait for Wrath of the Lich King; I get to kill more monsters, in order to get better loot, in order to be able to kill more monsters, but more easily! YAY!
And I have to pay to do that as well! Woo.
I haven't played WoW for 6 months, and hell, it has been awesome.

Watched it tonight... Absolutely fantastic.

I think I did quite well in the interviews. I was pleased after the whole deal but I was given some feedback after that. It's not about my skills to build good looking and playing levels, they didn't question those at all, it's about the whole process behind the ideas and Valve is known from their concept of it.
Like I said, I learned a lot and this was my first step.
Ah I see. Well as you said, you will have learned a lot, and I'm sure your next map will greatly benefit from what you've learned at Valve today. Commiserations to you though.
Any idea what you are going to work on next?
-
How exactly did you not get the job, Skdr? Your TF2 work is fantastic, on a par with Valve's stuff... Why did they turn you down?

Looks better, but I think the fog still seems to cut off too abruptly. That's my only criticism in terms of aesthetics though!
Gameplay-wise, this map seems to be very favourably tipped towards Insurgents, I've never played this map in a game in which Marines have actually won... I think it's because there is only one way to get in to the village (from the front), though I guess there is a sort of side-route, but that is always heavily guarded.

Oh I presumed they were new shots. Dux, you put a question mark instead of a full stop. Damn punctuation noob.

I'm sure it'll be awesome, but the human models look a little bit stiff still. (This isn't EOT, no penis jokes please!

Looks cool, the second piece reminds me of Superbad

But now it's even!
Let the battle continue!
