Nice one man, looks great.
SD is an incredible piece of software; you should all try it out and try to get proficient at it. I think most companies will be moving towards using it, it speeds up your workflow so much.

This game is great fun! Nice to put on at lunch and crush some skulls.
Dunno why everybody is going on about the soundtrack being incredible though. It fits the game well and is fairly ambient, but it's mostly just 10 million remixes of E1M1. ![]()
Really enjoying this.
Why can everybody play as the same character though? That seems like an odd design choice.
How many maps and heroes are there on release?
Anyone know the cheapest place to get this in the UK? Any good deals going anywhere? Money's a bit tight atm but really interested in playing with friends. It's £45 on the Blizzard website but that seems way too expensive.
Intriguing. Can't wait to hear more.
Personally I think the name is awful though and will be confusing as fuck in 10/20 years time when people look back lol.

Sure it's pretty simplified but that sounds perfect for this generation imo. Hopefully that will get their lazy asses to try game dev and move on to using grownup editors
Yeah I know dude, I watched the vid last night. It's just a shame that you can't do more with it from a level design standpoint. It looks pretty powerful from a logic/scripting standpoint, but I just wish you had more control over the environments.
I'm just being grumpy ![]()
Haha come on guys, you're making it sound like Doom 1 was good for modding! Hahahahah don't be so daft...
Oh wait. Shit.
No idea why they haven't made a bigger thing of a level editor for this. Who gives a shit about snap map? It's just re-arranging preset bits of corridor, that's boring. I miss the old days.
Finished this the other day... Incredible game. What a brilliant note for the series to end on.. Seriously, it is such a brilliantly put together game.
The boss fights were brilliant in this game, much better than DS2 in my opinion (that game was such a mess).
My only complaint is that it was a lot easier than the others in the series. I don't know whether it's because I've played a lot of Dark Souls and Bloodborne by now, but I didn't struggle on any boss except the Nameless King. I beat the last 2 bosses in 1 go without dying. A last boss should be a lot tougher than that!
Personal favourite boss was the Twin Prince fight. The soundtrack is absolutely incredible here, and the cutscene and plot to go with the boss fight is just fantastic. As close to an 'emotional' boss fight as you're gonna get in a Souls game! I'd recommend reading up on the lore of these two, but here's the soundtrack from the boss fight. Ace stuff.
People still watch this shite?
That looks ace dude. Never tried Blender. How did you create the interesting patterning? Do they have an equivalent of splines?
Here's a gun model I've been working on recently just for fun.

Looks so cool, but damn I hate those 4 main characters just from looking at them. ![]()
Yep, I worked on PSVR and I could fit the headset easily over my glasses. Quite comfortable actually.
Congrats guys, welcome to the gaming tech of '08!
Brb loading up UE4.
Haven't posted up here in a while, thought I'd check in! Here's a lil vid of a scene I've been working on. Wanted to push the VFX/audio side a little bit (only a bit.. Hah) on this project. It's a 'The Thing' inspired Xcom environment. Not meant to be seen from this angle but hey ho!
Oh man me and 3 of my mates had a blast playing it recently. So much fun!
I'm not getting any performance issues and I'm loving it. It's fucking difficult though.
Me too mate! Can't wait.
