Oh, awesome Vilham! I didn't know you worked there too. How long you been there for?

Hey guys!
I've been in touch with a company down in Cambridge, UK, called Frontier Developments recently, and went down to an interview last week at their studio. Got a phone call this morning and I've been offered my first job in the games industry, as a Graduate Environment Artist!
I'm soooo excited, but I'm also really nervous! Don't know what to expect really, and what they expect of me straight away! When you guys started work with your first job, how long did it take you to settle in?
By the way, a huuuuuge thank you to Pomperi (Pontus Karlsson) for hooking me up with this job. I will be eternally grateful to you dude, can't wait to start working with you.

Oh God, pun wasn't intended hahaha. But seriously, it looks just like any other generic rubble pile I've seen in games before. I'm not trolling, I'm generally interested in what you guys think is so good about it.

I don't see what's so groundbreaking about it?

Rick I respect your opinions because you seem to keep a level head on most subjects, but not playing the multiplayer because the singleplayer was too short is a bit silly. Most of the time, the multiplayer component of a game is completely different to the singleplayer, and as a games developer (forgive me if I'm wrong on that!), I'd've thought you'd've (holy shit apostrophe explosion) known this.
For example, Black Ops' multiplayer is very different to its singleplayer. Sure, they have similarities but they are still very different in terms of how you play them.
Of course, I've not played Homefront, so I can't really appreciate where you are coming from. Don't take offense to what I've said, I just felt compelled to reply.

I loved Nemesis! It was so scary when he chased you around... *shivers*

Cool. Can't wait to play through the entire game start to finish. I loved working on BM, it was such a great experience.
-
Is my Inbound stuff still in there JP?!

-
Totally agree, Thrik! Loved Alan Wake and I was hooked from start to finish.
-
Good call JP, I need to put some sort of metal support to give it a bit more realism.

Worked a little more on this street environment. The French Awnings and lamp post have been made, as well as the alpha'd fencing on the top of the spire. Lemme know what you think!

Conveniently placed crates and planks there!

I think I probably should have played it when it first came out, because I've tried playing it a good few times but haven't really enjoyed it. I don't know why, I wish I wasn't like this!!!!!!

Deus Ex is the most overrated games I've ever played, so I'm not particularly excited about this one either. Will watch the video and see if it blows me away though!
-
PS - You guys are all awesome and I love every single one of you! And no, I'm not drunk right now.

-
Thanks fellas! I celebrated in perfect gamer style, with plenty of alcohol and gaming. It was my 21st!

It's not exactly a Vault though, is it?
-
Ffs Dux, stop fucking it up for everyone else.

I absolutely love the multiplayer on BC2.. Is Homefront more like that, or is it more like Call of Duty multiplayer?
