Well although I read all the other posts I just want to say something on this bit of yours.

Before, I know you didn't call them nazis (and from what I read you don't think they are nazis and or elitists whatsoever and you don't want to offend them).

2. "war past". Please do me a favour and explain what you mean by that (PM if you don't want to post here), I seriously do find this offensive! The problem is I see what prejudices do every day (against me and against others). I do not defend Germans because of any ideology, I just fucking hate prejudices, even if they are rather 'small' ones like saying Germans can't speak English.

You might even be correct with the importance for me, but just because I live in a country with a lot of prejudices against foreigners and this sickens me...

I really don't understand how you think, I'm sorry, but you say the essential part of being German is to refuse talking English. This is 1. wrong, 2. still a prejudice...

Anyways I still don't see why someone complains about a (mostly) German modteam which writes German in their forums.

From what I know, French people read and write English very well... they happen to have problems with pronunciation though. Still this would be no big deal when talking with them in English.

What do you expect from a german (".de") tld?

Regarding movies, roughly 100 million people speak german, why the hell shouldn't the movies be synchronated? There are indeed germans, austrians and swiss (luxemburg... hell I don't know how you call them in English... and many others ) who cannot or barely understand English (ie elderly people and young children (as they start learning English in the 5th grade afaik, at least in Austria)).

For my own part, i prefer watching movies in English because i get what the director intended the audience to see (german synchronizations may be one of the best but not as good as the original).

Sorry for so much emphasis, I'm not even German myself (and usually I don't see a reason in defending anything that happens in Germany), but I find this just really, really dumb.

I've bought a Graphire Classic 4 (A6) a year ago and it fits my expectations... I don't draw stuff, it just makes things easier with textures, nothing that can't be done without but faster and more fun.

I'm atm looking at Blender 2.43 with the new Sculpting System, a Wacom is highly recommendable for such programs.

btw, the Graphire Classic 4 costs about 80€.

Looks cool, although the scaling seems a little bit wrong when you compare it with the player model (Pripyat was the city close to chernobyl, right?)

I really don't know what it is, bu this game looked better on my Gamecube than on PC

The controlscheme looks shitty too, however i do understand why they chose it, if you could use the mouse (and maybe strafe too) the game would be too fast and too easy. it worked quite well on gamecube and ps2 but i don't think it will work on pc...

Shapes are a little boring. I was trying to mix phototextures with handpainted stuff.

Nice texture Sindwiller, although the render looks aweful (hmm... although mine doesn't look better ).
