Why so serious?

Damn, just came from the cinema, and I am glad to say I had a really awesome time watching this movie!
The Joker is really an awesome actor, and for me he was the "main" character! fucking loved the acting.

The Dark Knight prologue

Some of the screenshots you've posted seem to much alike, It's characteristic of GoW to have a "even" look though out the levels, but some of your areas really look the same.
Keep up the good work though, this is promising!

Woa hessi, you really like to model yourself, don't you?

The model looks good indeed, you could have posted a wireframe as well!

Vice City was the best of them all!
And the worst, was definitely that piece of crap with read the ruless on it!
I'll play GTA4 when it comes to PC, don't want to play it on PS3.

Quote from Thrik
With that said, it's quite common in many industries to follow up your initial applications a week or so later with a call — particularly in the boring white collar ones. Typically in such a situation you just say something like "Hiya, I'm just calling to ensure my recent application was received successfully" and maybe "An estimation of when I can expect a response would be very helpful", which of course prompts them to actually deal with it and clarifies that you are definitely interested in them and you didn't just send your application to every company in the county.
Yeah well, Remedy did replied to me once, telling me they were too busy at the moment, and they would be glad to take a look at my application again on march 2008, since I was the only candidate who passed the first "stage".
I sent an e-mail on may, asking if they were still interested, no answer at all so far!
(Although the vacancy I applied to is still on their webpage)I guess I comprehend though, they probably get a shit load of applications, and they can't just reply to them all, otherwise they would need a single person to handle those kind of task.
(Crytek has one by the way, It's called a community manager)

lol, indeed... it's like, Valve Is Valve!
Most of us would give out a kidney, or two, to work there!

-
Have you bought an iPhone at least?!

-
I bought the first edition, and I recommend it to every level designer out there!
-
Me too, I love those colors! they really blend in toguether!

Ah, too bad man! But judging by your post, I can tell it was a very rich experience, and for that I am very happy for you man!!

Lot's of people have a dedicated thread to dump the models they're working on, and I decided to do the same.
I guess it's better this way, instead of having a loosen thread for every props I might do in the future, plus this will probably serve a self motivation for me!

here's my first piece, nothing major or special, since I'm just getting started on this whole next gen prop modeling stuff, so here we go!
