Yeah well, you can't blame them, they wanna sell more copies, and in general a +18 game never sells as good as teen games.

This is a dynamic survey, so I didn't saw that question Jetsetlemming, but I think FX stands for Special Effects. (Like the ones on Hollywood movies)

Just made the survey, and joined the linkdln group!

I'm curious to see the results of the survey!

I wont be buying the second edition of the book, since i bought the first of course, but I congratulate you, because having a second edition of a book means the sales were very nice, which is great for you and all the level designers out there!

Not sure if It's the air brush or the mouse that comes with it, not that i care, I won't be using neither of them.

Yeh, I can imagine having a cintiq is the fucking roxorzorz! I hope It's the new model, since the older ones tend to overheat a lot.

Edit: Aww damn! Hessi, I missed you'r post where you told me you'd sell me your Intuos! Aw well, too late now, I already paid for my new one, (Which is also used, bought it from a friend of mine) just waiting for it to arrive by mail.

  • EA will sell Crysis Ready PCs

Yes of course, EA will just make a random PC, tell the client it WILL run crysis and sell it, without being sure if it will run it or not. C'mon...

You know, not everybody knows what is a Graphical Board, processor, chipset, RAM, etc. PC's are still a bit complex in terms of hardware, drivers, compatibility, etc.

Some people might just want to get a PC that they know for sure it will run the game X or Y, because it has been tested on that rig already.

Now this is a fantastic idea, at least in my opinion!

EA plans to market pre-built PCs in conjunction with the release of Crysis Warhead.

Here's a small text that copied from Kotaku:

    Quote

"This is a brilliant idea. I've always felt that PC manufacturers were missing out by not marketing directly to gamers. I'm not talking high-end, higher-priced dedicated gaming systems here. Just a PC with a sticker on it that lists the games it will run out of the box - kind of like how console packaging shows popular titles available on that system. I wish EA the best of luck. Perhaps they'll start a trend!"
