Yeah man, but don't ruin the kick ass architecture and brush work with horrible ideas like big ass fruits... this level is looking too neat for it!

Just make sure and share them with us when you find them, I'm interested in this too!

Little something I decided to do today, a doom3 style prop...
I'll see if I can find the time to texture it next week.

Yeah, fruits look odd... Try to create to visual explanation for the player, of the "why are those big ass fruits in here".
Also, next time you take shots turn on anisotropic filtering! My eyes!!

Although they share the same gameplay style, GTA and Mafia are diferent games, and I prefer Mafia.
While GTA is more action based, arcade even, with lot's of fun mixed up, Mafia aims towards other fields like a very strong story telling, which always give you more motivation to keep on playing the game.
I know games are about "fun", but in my opinion is games like Mafia, Max Payne, Metal Gear, (Etc) that are really memorable, I like to call it: games with souls.

A post I found on gaf
QuoteIt is very likely GRIN received the full development budget plus some margin paid on a milestone basis across the length of the project. That budget would have had some margin baked into it, so GRIN would likely have made some money on the development with some possibility of royalties on the back end.It is possible before release there may have been an expectation of rolling on to sequel or derivative products, but with the apparent low sales those opportunities if they existed will have disappeared leaving them with spare teams. Royalty payouts would be unlikely.
And in this environment, there are not a lot of licensed projects floating around that haven't been placed, and those that are available are hotly contested. Not an easy time to place spare teams in a hurry.
It is possible this was a factor also.
All speculation of course. There could be many factors at work here and the full story is certainly not known.

Damn stepp, this is really a dark day...

Anyways dude, there's not much you can do aside from thinking what are you going to do next! Start to get your folio / cv ready, and send some e-mails! and/or give furyo a word, I'm sure he can pull some strings for an old mapcorean!

I agree... Valve has already proven us they really know how to make MP games with CS:S, TF2 and L4D... But please, give us a SP game for a change now!
