Definitely use another colour for the BG. Grey is better.
Or find a very simple pattern.
Other than that, pretty cool!

Quote from KungFuSquirrelSecuROM 7.4 (from what I can tell), but it's not the obtrusive SecuROM (like what was originally in Bioshock or Mass Effect). This SecuROM just makes sure disk is in the drive when you start playing it. I'm an anti DRM freak, and I'm cool with it.
id also traditionally nukes the CD check after the first patch, so I'd expect it to disappear whenever that happens.
Exactly, Epic does that as well! ![]()
I'm 4 hours into the game already. Having some fun with this, finally, after that problem with the mouse sens. Game's far from being perfect, but I'm finding it average at best.
You're gonna keep on calling trolls to everyone who's opinions differs from yours DUFFY?
Wait... what?! He makes games?!?
Jesus... I'm not bashing anything! I'm just warning for the obvious fact that Mac is not a PC, and you can't exactly do the same on it as you do on a PC, that includes work and some specific tools. That's bashing?
you know, the term game development is pretty generic.
I do game development as well, and I could never use Mac, because the tools I use are not natively supported there. (except for PS) That was what I was trying to explain.
Wtf? No... I mean, it depends. First think about what are you going to do with it.
If you want to be all cool and make pic albums with 3 clicks with cool slide-shows, and be all cool and shiny, yeah get a MacBook.
On the other hand, If it's more of a work oriented / gamming computer, use SDK's, game editors, 3dsmax, etc. then you have to get a laptop.

pt2 is particularly interesting
Pretty simple and does the job.
That splash screen is kinda useless, but It's not so much of a bother for me, just an extra click! ![]()
GJ mate!
That i don't know cos I didn't tried MP yet. I just assumed wrong then.
Here we go...! ![]()
Grats guyz
Oh, there's a scroll bar at the bottom? I didn't noticed that the first time I visited your site.
get that fixed man! ![]()
other than that, awesome portfolio!
Quote from JetsetlemmingThe vertical axis is definitely slower than the horizontal as that's how most pro RTCW MP players played apparently.
Ah so... basically. They removed the health packs, and replaced them with autoregen. They changed the MP experience completely from what we had from the previous RTCW. But.... They keep the vertical axis slower to please the hardcore fans? (...)
From what I played, It doesn't look anything special, although I want to finish it, then I'll give some feedback. But first, I need to get the freaking mouse working...
I tried lowering the res to 1280* and deactivating the vsync. And It's slightly better, but not perfect. But I get ugly aliasing, low res and a lot of screen tearing. fuck sakes...
I guess I'll wait for a patch. ![]()
What's with this fucking game and the mouse movement!!! It's like the mouse sensitivity dinamicaly changes...
I disabled the aim assist (why the fuck is this even here?!), vsync, lowering the res, and it still behaves very weird.
I tell you, the fucking sens changes from second to second, and the vertical axis is more slow than the horizontal!
gg
