Yeah, the PS3 is always the console that hurts the most when running multiplatform games. Blame Sony for that.

That's what you get for not buying the PC version...

So, does anyone know where to get a TS server with enough slots for like 20 people at least?

Industry gossip!

I just don't think this kind of topics fits mapcore, this kind of stuff is not why people visit mapcore for.

And this is mapcore turning into kotaku?

lol, well... you got to limit the player somehow!

I really like how Fallout3 did this. The world is so big you never really encounter any "invisible barrier" or colision. But I once tried to just walk in one direction and they use either very tall buildings or mountains that you can't walk.
In crysis 1 there was sharks, boats with missiles and water mines, depending on the levels.

In Half-Life2 there was piranhas.

Me too... this game is far from looking good. People keeps saying this look good and all, but I don't understand why the fuck they say that. It's almost the same "syndrome" as Gears of War, good art, but the filters and shit really fucks up with the graphics.

What's the non shitty way then?
Edit: Well yeah, I could have mentioned it, ma bad!
It's pretty cool, each guy that registers through your referral link you get an extra 250mb, so you can have up to 3gb! -
Yeah Sentura. Maybe you got a little confused, because I posted a link to a public gallery I did.
Actually, having public folders is a feature, not the whole thing. Everything you put in there, is private by default.
It's great to have the ability to have public stuff, but where this program shines is in the automatic file syncing with your work and home PC with that little folder. Put something in there, and as you get home it automatic syncs the new files, this is fucking badass!

Same here!

It's pretty much my personal place, where I post the stuff I worked on my free time.
it isn't as much a blog as it is a portfolio then? i honestly think i'm too lazy to have a blog. or don't care enough. or both. i much prefer writing a document to larger projects documenting reflections, analysis, thoughts etc.
Yeah maybe a mix of portfolio/blog.
I rarely write in there tho, just brief comments to explain what are those pics I'm posting. I might explain a little bit the workflow, but then again, very briefly.
It's also good because, if you have something to say to the world, you can also post personal stuff there, better than using twitter or facebook i guess.

I miss lightmaps actually... They're more work, but they look better in a way.
Anyways, what's this lightmass thing everyone's been talking about?
-
Really?! Cos that's exactly the same visual bug that happens with Parallax, but never with actual tessellation.
