xen was awesome, very blunt way to finish a game!
Crytek tried the same approach with the Core level on Crysis, trying to completely change the way the game is played but it didn't work that well gameplay wise; but one thing is for sure, when I think Crysis 1, I think Island and Core.
I finished DeusEx 7 times, HL1 only once, and wasn't long ago!

This game strikes a huge resemblance to FC2, and that's not exactly a good thing. I guess I was just expecting a little bit more... something different than a very arcade game with +50XP everytime on the screen.
One thing is for sure... at least these guys are trying new shit, on a saturated industry such as ours, can you blame them for that?
I don't think I agree with this tho. I mean, yeah since forever one is told that competition is healthy, and it is cos in the end the consumer wins. But Google to put it simply, everything it does, it blows everything outta the water.
